We stayed at the hotel after working on a saturday night. The lady on reception was very helpful and the check in process was easy. The room was clean, tidy and better than i thought it would be. Hardly any outside noise and a great nights sleep. We couldn't work out how to get the sofa bed out but that was our doing and not the hotels. A good hotel for £40 - couldn't fault it really.

This hotel is right next to Bescot Stadium railway station, so despite the distance it's still handy for Birmingham. Other than the stairs, it's an easy couple of minutes walk to the hotel.

Rooms are of a typical Park Inn standard - decent quality stuff, basic but effective. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, and normally managed it...

Breakfast was pretty good, and great value for the price - we hadn't booked it but got it added on at checkin for only a fiver each. Again, not going to win any prizes here on variety or fancyness, but a fair set on the buffet and a cooked to order hot breakfast to follow (it was a quiet day so they did cooked ot order)

The dinner menu wasn't quite to the usual Park Inn level, it was a bit more basic, but it was also a little cheaper, and was quite nice. You're not going to come here on a special occasion, but if you're in the hotel anyway it's not bad.

For £40 on a weekend, and only a short train ride from the centre of Birmingham, you can't go wrong! My only complaint would be that there's lots of noise about (motorway, railway, air conditioners etc), and the windows aren't quite as soundproof as you might hope. Not enough to disturb me, but just enough to notice.

Room Tip: Get one on the far side from the motorway, but also as far as you can from the heating and air condi...

Couldn't believe that for £40 we had dinner, bed and breakfast. The rooms are immaculately clean and a good size. I was at The Park Inn for two nights and the whole hotel was taken over by The Rod Stewart fan club. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. An ideal location for visiting Birmingham without City prices. Train Station on the doorstep.Breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice and evening meal was plentiful.

Well lets start off, i was shocked by the price for a night in this hotel. £40 per night over the weekend.

There are many shops near by and places to eat, just 5mins walk. The security of the place has improved since the last few reviews. There is a train station nearby and its not a long trip to new street.

The overall place was really nice and tidy and had no problems with the room at all. i would also like to mention they have decent wifi for FREE! as an IT Engineer i found there internet connection great for all my devices.

Room Tip: If you was to get a room and want peace and quite, please check if walsall fc are playing home as th...

Stayed here on business last week and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the hotel was and the staff very helpful. I also noticed that they have a security guard now on night duty so hopefully the incidents I read before about cars being broken into shouldn't happen. Breakfast was buffet style but all the cooked food was hot and well cooked. My room could have been slightly warmer but that was the only niggle.

We had a good experience here; the staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable, clean and modern. Great shower, tea and coffee facilities, good choice of tv channels, etc. Although it is near to the motorway we didn't think it was noisy at all and had a great night's sleep. Check-out time is 12 noon which is a luxury for those who need a lie-in or more time to pack! The car park was being patrolled by security guards through the night which made us feel reassured about leaving our car in the car park (we got back to our room after our evening out and witnessed them patrolling).

The only slightly negative aspects were that although the hotel restaurant food was very nice as we had dinner there, it was definitely over-priced for what you get, which I think is unfair and off-putting for anyone who may consider eating there, but we were in a bit of a rush to go out so had little choice. The menu in the room also said that they offer barms, fruit etc. out of normal hours on request but when we rang to request this we were told there was no-one in the kitchen. They did apologise but possibly they should think about putting specifc times on the menu as to when this service is available.

Overall however a good hotel, and its worth mentioning that we also had good feedback about it from others who we met whilst in Birmingham who were staying there at the same time as us.

Located next to Walsall FC's stadium and directly across the road from the railway, don't be put off by driving through an Industrial Estate to reach the hotel. It's clean, relatively new (and already undergoing renovation), the beds are comfortable - but about 1 foot off the ground so older people may have trouble getting out of bed / standing up. The bathrooms are a "wet room" style with the now ubiquitous soap dispenser by the sink and in the shower. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of hot and cold. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and I didn't see any vandalised cars in the car park - but it may have been the thieves night off. Situated close to the elevated portion of the M6 motorway there was not that much noise but, obviously, an open window was out of the question. All in all, a good nights sleep at a hotel where I spent £65 for B & B - which puts it nicely between Travelodge and Premier Inn prices.

Room Tip: It might be best to get a room on the car park side of the hotel - but that's also where the air...
