Stayed for weekend, Rod Stewart tribute act. Good food, good company, lovely big room, will stay there again soon. Made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in,has a lovely bar, olde worlde with roaring fire, serves food, sunday carvery, is very popular and if you go there you will see why, bar stayed open till I crawled up to my big comfy bed, oops! £118 for 2 of us for weekend in huge ensuite room with wonderful breakfast, immaculate, right in middle of town with parking, has a hairdresser too.

What a fantastic place . Wonderful traditional bar with charismatic locals that make you feel imidiately welcome .
Chirpy and generous owner in Ken .
The rooms are really nice . Worth trading up to a superior room for sure . The rooms on the building accross the way with four poster beds are great .
Trad ale especially the Theakstons goes down well . The evening food is again very pleasant . The fish and chips made fresh is the highlight .

Stayed 2 nights on business - looking for place with a bit of character and found it!
Very clean, friendly and warm hotel and seperate pub - the range of real ales is one of the best I've stumbled across. Staff very friendly, food is excellent pub grub and real value.
Great breakfast, a bit slow at times. Free parking if room in car park available.
My room was warm and comfortable, everything worked and the bed was really comfortable - had 2 nights deep sleep.
Can't fault the place and will definately stay again when in the area.

Room Tip: Room 222 was interesting - small double for single ideal!

We have used the Lyndon House several times whilst in Walsall. The staff are friendly and the beer is excellent. We have eaten there on several occasions and have always been pleased with the food we have had. Its a bit of a trek up the hill through the market to get to the place, although there is parking nearby, but it is well worth the effort to get there

I was booked into this hotel by the company I work for. The accommodation is part of a pub complex but is down a steep slope and separate from the pub. For me, not being a pub lover, that was fine except on arrival on a cold and icy day the slope down to my room was lethal. I had to drive my car down it to park and was lucky to get down in one piece. To be fair to the hotel the snow and ice were cleared thoroughly the next day and all was well.
The welcome at reception was lukewarm to say the least.
My room was described as standard but had a 4-poster and wood-panelled walls. It was warm and had what I needed for 2 nights on business, including free wi-fi.
Breakfast was ok, cereal in packets and fruit juice but no fresh fruit were negatives but the hot food was cooked to order. My scrambled eggs were good and the lady fronting the operation was pleasant.
Overall a fairly pleasant stay if nothing special.

I always stay here when I am in the area.
The beer is absolutely fantastic with a large selection of real ales kept to perfection !
The food is great and the staff are very friendly.
This is a great place to spend an evening with friends and it won't cost you a fortune
as the prices are exceptional !
ENJOY !!!

I stay here every time I go to Walsall on Business. A great old fashioned pub and hotel. The Lyndon has bags of character and the food is traditional pub food at a great price. A friendly nice wee hotel and pub. Very nice indeed....

Room Tip: Go for a superior room downstairs, its only a few pounds more but worth it.
