Called in for a short stay at Tewkesbury on the way south. Called in to Tilly's in the morning for tea for two and, after a morning spent looking round the town. we hadn't seen anything to entice us so we returned to Tilly's for lunch. The food was as good as it gets, as was the service. More than three weeks later, on our way home we had a short stay in Chesterfield, but guess were we went for lunch! As we walked in we were remembered and we weren't disappointed with our decision to return. We both went for the Frittata and it was lovely, served in a pan with a comprehensive salad and a choice of dressings. We decided to have dessert and they came up to expectations. My wife had home made Summer Pudding with clotted cream and ice cream and I had home made Pavlova style roulade with ice cream. Delicious! What a way to end a memorable holiday. Thank you ladies.
