“Perfect for families and/or large groups”
Reviewed 30 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

A beautifull and cosy cottage located in the Cotswolds, Mole End is a truly excellent place to stay and wind down. As a family with two small children we were impressed with the facilities. A fully equipped kitchen, heated flooring and the wood burner were much appreciated by all. There was also plenty to keep the family amused. and the cottage easily coped with visiting guests taking our number to six for a few days. All of our guests also thought the cottage was fabulous. The Crown in Kemerton is a sound pub and Tewkesbury and Cheltenham are both easily within striking distance. A big thanks to Joanne and Andy for making check in seamless and for taking delivery of groceries and hire car prior to our arrival, customer service over and beyond the norm. Finally thanks for giving us the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful property, we didn't want to leave and we will definitely be back!

“Cosiest, most comfortable cottage in the Cotswolds”
Reviewed 13 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We came to the Cotswolds to be together as a family of five,as my daughter is studying nearby. The cottage is immaculate and finished to a very high spec.We particularly enjoyed sipping Prosecco in the evening sunshine in the separate seating area in the garden whilst the fluffy sheep grazed nearby.
As it gets chillier, you can always snuggle up in front of the wee log stove and maybe toast some of the marshmallows the owners provided!!
Walking to the nearby Crown pub was another highlight, as was sampling the Italian cuisine from "Salerno" in Tewkesbury itself.
All in all,a perfect weekend.

“Beautifully presented and comfortable cottage”
Reviewed 1 September 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed two nights and could not have wished for more. The cottage and garden was immaculately presented with some very generous welcoming goodies. The quality of the fittings and furnishings was excellent and we would highly recommend Mole End Cottage.
Tried to book it again for a visit a few months later but sadly it was already booked.

“Idyllic retreat with everything you need”
Reviewed 31 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The cottage is located in a beautiful location and is a home from home. The welcome with a cream tea was a lovely surprise and there were so many little tocuhes which made the stay so special. we had a fabulous holiday and cant wait to return. Joanne and Andrew are the perfect hosts and were very flexible over our required dates - very few other cottage rentals are so acccomodating. Would highly recommend staying here.

“Hard to beat”
Reviewed 1 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This is our second time booking with holiday lettings, and last time we were very fortunate to have a great house and host. We thought that would be difficult to beat.

No matter how good a cottage is, if the owner is not responsive then that could ruin the holiday. We had a very caring and proactive owner in Joanne. Fantastic customer service from even before booking.

With a family of 6 and some particular enquiries, she replied promptly and warmly. As we are Muslim and needed halal food, she asked around via various contacts and provided what info she could. Leading up to the holiday which was booked a couple months in advance, she kept us up to date with the what was happening at the cottage. There's a twitter account, but I didn't follow it.

The key pick-up was smooth and well thought out as well as the instructions to get to the cottage.

The cottage...well it's beautiful...almost idyllic. On Bredon Hill, near the top with some spectacular views.A few little villages a walk away and a lots more by driving. Boourton-on-the-Water is a 40 minute drive away and is a must see.

Back to Mole End, Joanne dropped off indoor and outdoor games without us asking. She continued sending us info with any questions we had...again promptly and warmly. Oh, I almost forgot the welcome basket of goodies. Mmmmm...delicious.

To be frank, the cottage was enough, even during those rainy days. It's
going to be hard to find a better host and better cottage for next year. We might be back to Mole End.

You were a joy to work with and such a lovely family. I was so sorry that the weather was not great for your stay, if I could arrange that for you I would have! Well done for making it to the top of Bredon Hill to watch the stars at night. I must do that myself soon.

“A delightful holiday venue”
Reviewed 27 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

A beautifully appointed and lovingly restored Cotswolds cottage with charm, comfort and all the modern conveniences. The large and well equipped dining/kitchen area opened out on to the lovely garden with a stream running through it and we had many very pleasant hours sitting on the patio listening to the water trickle by and watching the sun set from the outside room at the end of the garden. The bedrooms are pretty, airy and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring both by car and on foot. Delightful Cotswold villages, National Trust venues and Stratford upon Avon (only 30 miles away!), as well as rambles up and around Bredon Hill, are all within easy reach. We particularly loved exploring Tewkesbury and its wonderful Norman abbey. Joanne was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and local events. (Do not miss the Eckington Flower Festival if you are visiting in mid-June). She also provided some very nice extras, such as jams and wine, which added to our comfort. and she was easily reachable when simple questions arose about the running of the house.

Beautiful homely character cottage with charming features. The location was peaceful and ideally located for walks, visiting cotswolds villages, shopping in Cheltenham or quaint pub meals. The open fire topped off the experience. Thoroughly enjoyed the week and perfect location to get married from...... will defiantly return, the extra touches were very nice. A BIG thank you to Jo who was a perfect host and was very welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble !
