My mother booked (well in advance) a room for one night at this holtel which I had heard was very good. However today she has received an email canceling the booking. I have phoned the hotel and spoke to a very rude and disinterested woman who was unable to explain why she couldnt keep the booking and didnt offer any form of anappology. I understand that it is a family run buisness and that perhaps a family berevment or other such unforseable event may be the reason but an appology and maybe some advice on other local hotels would have been appreciated. Will certainly take our future buisness elsewere!

Room Tip: Choose another hotel.

Seven of us stayed at the Station Approach in three rooms for one night this last weekend. It is very friendly and definitely clean. The rooms are a good size, although the shower room in two of the rooms had limited space, but this wasn't too much of a problem, the showers worked well and the water was hot. Our rooms were comfortable. The only criticism we all had was that there was no tea and coffee making facilities in our rooms, you had to go downstairs to the breakfast/laundy room to find a drink. This we found quite unusual these days as it's so nice to be able to make your own drink, especially when you arrive in unfamiliar surroundings. For older people who don't find it easy to get up and down stairs, this is a slight problem and perhaps there may be times when you need a drink in the middle of the night and you wouldn't want to go downstairs for it. Apart from this, we would all stay here again and thanks to Teresa for a good breakfast and friendly hospitality.

I stayed at this place when I had to visit UK BA office in Solihull. Rooms are very well maintained.
A lovely clean and warm place to stay. The room was very cosy with a welcoming hot shower. We were at the front of the house and we found it quiet and slept very well. The breakfast was one of the best i have ever eaten, very well cooked, tea and coffee whenever you wanted it. Would be more than happy to stay here again!

The lady who owns this B & B could not do enough for us, going well out of her way for our daughter, who is a very, very picky eater, she was very understanding. The breakfast was one of the best i have ever eaten, very well cooked, tea and coffee whenever you wanted it. Would be more than happy to stay here again!

After driving for nearly 3 hours through horrendous weather it was really good to find a warm welcome from the owner of this B & B. The B & B is clean and well equipped, the room we stayed in wasn't the largest for 3 adults and one of my daughters (aged 21) slept on a fold out bed, but as we were only staying one night and she slept okay so no problems there. Breakfast was really nice and the owner catered for our individual requests.
The hotel is ideally situated for the NEC and Birmingham airport, The local shopping centre contains several restaurants and is in easy walking distance whiich makes this hotel an ideal place to stay for a short break.

Stopped here for 3 weeks and 1 week in a different near by B&B which was absolutely awful! Very glad the bulk of my stay was at Station Approach!!

Wonderful service from helpful Teresa who would go the extra mile to help with any of our queries!

Best english breakfast I've ever had at a B&B/ hotel served on very hot plates which is brilliant as I cannot stand a cold plate.

Our room was cosy, very clean and we had a powerful hot shower!

Another plus is the superb location- 5min walk from a beautiful shopping centre with a variety of shops and resturant- also 2min walk to the station (we got the 7min train to Birmingham to take a look at the city)

Cannot fault our stay at Station Approach B&B -I recommend highly.
