I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. When we arrived the counter staff were very helpful and welcoming and explained where everything was and reiterated the point several times that if we needed any assistance they were there to help. The place was clean, although the room was musty and had obviously not been stayed in recently, but we opened the window and this quickly freshened it up. This brought the very interesting heating system into play which took some working out. The bath and shower were very clean and efficient.

Brekafast was very well presented and of good quality, and again freindly and helpful staff. Checkout, like check-in, was organised and a different girl behind the counter was very well trianed, polite and helpful.

All in all a surprisingly pleasurable experience which exceeded expectations.

we have used this hotel several times as a base whilst standing exhibitions twice a year at the NEC - of which is a doddle to get to from the hotel.

very comfy rooms, great parking facilities and a super pub [the barn] next door connceted to hotel.

the food served here is fine and plenty of it, breakfasts being very well catered for as in most premier travel inns,

welcome and booking in was fine - even the short notice requirement of a ground floor room as one of our party was recovering from a major knee op was handled without fuss...

big round of applause for everyone there - nothing too much trouble, shirley on the reception was a great laff always smiling what ever...

we shall be using this delightful hotel again without question - unless it's fully booked !!!

We have just returned from a nights stay at the Premier Inn in Hockley Heath. We booked with premier inn after a bad experience at a Travelodge earlier this year in Leicester and we were determined to have a good nights sleep. It is more expensive than other hotels but it is worth it. Nice location, great parking facilities, pleasant recpetion staff, clean and spacious rooms with very good ensuite bathrooms.

The hotel is attached to the beefeater next door where breakfast, lunch and dinner was served. The restaurant is also very good and beautifully decorated, we all had a full english breakfast the day we left which was great but I wouldnt recommend eating there for lunch/dinner we all had a range of sandwiches or jacket potatoes which were very simple and a bit stale to be honest.

The hotel/restaurant staff were all fantastic and very friendly we will definitley be using premier inns again.

Great : )

Staying in a hotel with young children whilst visiting elderly relatives is always a fraught time. We used to stay at the Travelodge Redditch. However, staff indifference and the severe pruning of basic facilities (such as towel rail, hair dryer, third teabag etc.) caused me to look elsewhere. The Premier is a bit more expensive but worth every penny to my mind.
The children get colouring books and bag on arrival from ultra-friendly staff who genuiuely seem to care about your stay. The bar and restaurant are part of the same company (Whitbread) rather than having been sold off and no longer connected. This is a big plus. Meals are good, especially the breakfasts - free for children.
We had a noisy night due to some inconsiderate guests partying at 2am in the morning. However, our complaint was met by a full accommodation refund. As a result of this generosity. I have stayed in three Premier Inns since and am now a convert.

We used to stay at the Holiday Inn Stratford upon Avon however that has become too expensive for it's own good ! ! !

So we hit on the idea of staying at Hockley Heath as it just cried out as a perfect location for all the things we wanted to do in Warwickshire.

The welcome we received from the receptionist was extremely friendly - and very genuine. The room was everything you come to expect from a Premier. Large and clean.

Breakfast/dinner were taken in the pub next door and unlike most Premiers you didn't have to go outside to get there as it was joined on by a large corridor.

The food in the pub was superb and as we were staying there for four nights the staff got to know us so we were given 'our usual table'...

We will be using this hotel from now on.
