Ravenhurst was a wonderful experience. The house itself is well appointed, well organized, very clean, and has a welcoming, homey atmosphere. Mr. Keppy and the house manager are lovely people, friendly and tremendously helpful to a pair of jet lagged, bumbling US tourists. They are very knowledgeable about the area, and able to give practical advice on getting around and where to find things.
The location is advantageous; a short ride from BHX, close to the M42, and handy to Birmingham and Coventry without being in the middle of the traffic and noise. Solihull town center and several good restaurants, takeaways, and pubs are within easy walking distance, and there's a bus stop literally right in front of the house with frequent service.
The rooms are comfortable, the back garden is pretty and relaxing, and breakfast is on time and very good, with options from cereals to a full English that will keep you going for quite awhile.
We look forward to going back.
