Andy and Sue made us most welcome when we arrived at Riverside Barn, tea and biscuits on arrival. Our room was excellent, the decor very tasteful, and the four poster bed very comfortable. The breakfasts are brilliant, full english if you want it or a large choice of many other foods, all prepared and presented. Top Notch. Will stay there again.

We received a delightful welcome from Susie & Andy and were thrilled to discover that the standerd and quality of accommodation was equivelent to the Queens Grill suites on the QE2 and other Cunard liners, as were the breakfasts, which are far superior to the 5 star hotels we have stayed in around the world. The location on the River Ribble with extensive views to Pendle Hill is ideal for touring the Lancashire & Yorkshire Dales & the Lancs Coast to the Lake District. Also, there are many restuarants 1/2-20mle radious. The area has lots of Historic and Craft places to visit, scenic walks plus beautiful villages eg Downham. Susie&Andy will provide you with excellent information.

A delightful bed and breakfast, just round the corner form the Roman museum and on the banks of the river. Two rooms, wonderfully presented and easily meriting the 5* it's been awarded. One room is disabled friendly but I stayed in it for its stylish wet room and rainhead shower. Andy and Sue are so keen to provide everything you could possibly wish for - fantastic choice of fresh breakfasts, superb furnishings and decor in the rooms, blissfully restful and incredibly, amazingly cheap! It would be twice the price in any other location. If you're in the area, looking for luxury and tranquility, check out their website and, if you're lucky enough, you may get the chance to stay in this beautiful farm building conversion.
