Had lunch, dinner and breakfast which were all lovely, staff very friendly and professional. If I was to pick and this is a little pick bed was uncomfortable for dearest room expected big bed, but it was to singles put together which was uncomfortable.
Other than that fab stay would go back but choose a different room

What a cracking little hotel this is. From my initial enquiry the staff were lovely. Jo who dealt with my enquiry could not have been more helpful and even gave me a little discount! The hotel is pleasantly situated in own grounds approx 2 miles from M6 and 15-20 mins drive to Blackpool. If you are considering a trip to blackpool (dont - ha ha) dont stay there stay here. Rooms were traditional and comfortable, nothing flash but homely. We took kids into blackpool to go to zoo and see the illuminations. The zoo was tired and i felt a bit sorry for some of the animals as enclosures not as big as perhaps they could have been. Illuminations were disapointing for me. It was probably 30 yrs since i have been and thought it was one of those things you had to do with kids. We were there an hour and all i can say is blackpool is just not for me. We headed back to hotel and went for a meal in the walled bistro at the hotel. It had a really good atmosphere, great menu and nice staff. We had a really nice meal which topped the day off. The hotel also has leisure facilities so when we got up we all went for a swim in the pool which we had to ourselves. Towels provided etc. Then went for breakfast which was cooked to order and a good selection. We plummed for full english which was lovely. All in all great value stay and if you must go to blackpool or any where else in this area stay here you will not be disapointed for the price.

We have stayed here many times on the weekend special rate of £99 which includes an allowance of £18 per person for dinner plus room & breakfast for 2 people. This is a bargain! The food in the Walled Garden has always been good but, incredibly it keeps getting better.

The rooms are very comfortable with everything you could possible need except a clock. The display on the tv's doesn't give the time & there is no radio alarm. This is nitpicking as it wouldn't stop us staying there.

The breakfast buffet is wonderful with hot food cooked to order if required. Try the Eggs Benedict.

The staff are always amazingly friendly, typical Lancashire hospitality.

We stayed here in the original room 1 for one night for our anniversary. It was amazing. The staff were lovely and ever so friendly. We were impressed by the facilities.
Although it is by the A6, you cannot see the road and it feels quite secluded.
We had room service that was brought to our room by a very polite gentleman, it was delicious.
We were so impressed we ended up asking for a wedding brochure and being shown round by Kath, and we were shown a wonderful garden that is so secretive, I was so surprised.

We will be back, no doubt about that.

Thank you for an amazing stay Barton Grange,

Becks & Tom

We stayed at the Barton Grange Hotel with our 3 year old and 10 month old baby on our way home to Aberdeen after a holiday in Cornwall. The hotel is only minutes from the M6 motorway and very easy to find.

On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist and checked in without any delay. Our room was large with a king size bed plus a rollaway for our toddler and a cot set up for the baby.

Dinner in the "Walled Garden Bistro" was very good and breakfast the next morning was excellent. All in all, a great break in a long journey plus a room rate of £95 B&B represents excellent value.

We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.

Just stayed one night. Rooms were clean and good quality if a little warm. We were well supplied with tea, coffee, good biscuits and fresh milk!. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good quality with a good selection of fruit and cereals and well prepared cooked breakfast. Nice public areas. There is even a bar billiards table! Very easy to get to the motorway. All round a very enjoyable stay and would definitely use again.

Four of us, myself, my wife, my mother - in her eighties, and my mid-twenties daughter had Sunday lunch here. The staff were really friendly and efficient. The surroundings were lovely and peaceful. The food was very good indeed; there was a very wide and flexible range from light snacks to full Sunday roast. All was all home made and so, for example, there were some excellent puddings. We haven't been to this hotel for some thirty years and were delighted to find that it's standards were still as high as ever.
