This is the hotel that all smaller hotels should aspire to. I stayed at the Park Hotel for nearly 2 weeks whilst i was working in Preston and surrounding area. Location was perfect as it was pretty central to where i need to be. The building is very well maintained and has a very warm feeling. I opted for a Supirior Double room. It was absolutley Gorgeous. Very comfy bed, great shower, Flat screen TV and a big brown leather sofa to chill out on. The staff were excellent and went over and above the call of duty, especially the girl that tended to breakfast and the girl that tended to the even meal and bar. Both are a credit to your establishent.
Food was also of a very high standard. Will definately be back.

We stayed here whilst in the north west for a 50th birthday party in Chorley - because this is one of the very few hotels that can accomodate a family of four without requiring you to book two rooms. We had the grandly titled 'Penthouse' in the attic, comprising of a small entrance lobby, 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with twin singles, a bathroom with loo, shower and sink, and a little lounge area too. The decor is sympathetic to the original design of the house, and whilst the planned redecorating has not made it to the top of the house yet, we were conmfortable and had everything we needed. Tea, coffee, hot choc and kettles in both bedrooms, ironing board and iron (ideal for the pre-party peparation), and small fridge too. The staff are all very friendly, very welcoming, and endlessly accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is lovely, with options to suit every appetite, and endless supplies of tea and coffee to help you recover on that post-party morning. We took a taxi into town to go shopping, as we were advised that it was cheaper and quicker for four of us, than catching the bus - though the stop is literally just round the corner from the hotel. Staying out late is no problem - the doors are locked after a certain time but you are provided with an access code to let yourself in. Off road parking is plentiful, and overall we were very impressed. We paid £210 for 2 nights, for four of us (2 adults, and two teenagers). I travel a lot for work and have added this to my list of top places to stay - will definitely be back.

An extended Victorian mansion set in an area that still retains elements of its original parkland situation, I've stayed at the Park hotel many times over the past couple of years and will continue to do so. Business, weddings, touring, whatever, this hotel is suitable. Transport is easy, the Fylde coast is 20 minutes away and open countryside extending through to the Ribble Valley and Bowland starts just to the north. A breath of fresh air in more ways than one.

Room Tip: The rooms in the old house are individual and full of character, those in the extensions more modern...

My 1st time staying at this hotel & I certainly wasn't disappointed. A really charming place with very warm, welcoming staff who make you feel at home. I had a lovely room with a 4 poster bed which was very clean as was the bathroom. If you want to venture into Preston, it's only a short walk to the bus stop. I stayed here on business but would definitely choose to stay here on a leisure trip. Very good price at £68 including breakfast which was also lovely with a nice selection to choose from. A definite must stay hotel.

We stayed at the Park hotel when we were attending a local wedding and the first thing to mention was that they were very accommodating allowing us to check in early so we could unpack and change before the wedding.
We paid £65 for the night including breakfast which I thought excellent value. The room was well decorated, had a lot of storage areas for clothes and of a good size and had a good sized shower room too. Our room (11) was in the main building at the front of the hotel but with minimal noise from the road and thick curtains to keep out the morning sun. Galaxy hot chocolate sachets were a bonus for me as I don't drink tea or coffee and it was nice to see this for a change!
Breakfast at the weekend was 8:30-10 and started with a help yourself continental and then our order taken for hot drinks, toast and cooked breakfast options. We had pancakes and a traditional breakfast and both were lovely.

I have stayed at the Park Hotel now many times and it is my first choice whenever I come to Preston. The staff are all great and make you feel at home straight away, just as if you are one of the family. They will do anything to make your stay a good one and will always go that extra mile for you, that is why I keep going back. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and the food is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and it is most definitely worth you giving it a try if you have never stayed there before.

Spent 4 nights here in November and was well looked after. Great service with cheerful staff who looked after me well. The room was very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and dinner and everything was home cooked and tasty. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.
