Just arrived home from a lovely stay at this Hotel. Staff were very very welcoming on arrival as we got there late on in the evening the young lady showed us to our room which was THE PENTHOUSE on the top floor and was absolutely immaculate.opened the bar for us and took time out and had a little chat with us. We had to leave early this morning so they made sure we did not leave without our breakfast which was really really nice. would highly recommend this hotel to anyone couples, families etc. The history of the place is also very interesting. Thank you to the staff and will be returning for a longer stay very soon.x :)

We required a weeks accomodation away from our famiiy stay, and found this hotel in a search engine. A few local people had said it was good quality, so we decided to book 7 nights. The communication with Bev via email before our stay was friendly, helpful, and professional. We were delighted with our room and the house keeping was efficient. Our room was situated in the new part and had a great king size bed. Breakfast each day was to a very high standard and generous. We dined in 1 evening and the quality of the food and service was outstanding. We will certainly be reurning to this accomodation again.

I loved it here, it was so relaxing and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent and the evening meal was top class. I will defo stay here again. Louise & Bev are excellent hoteliers and I tip my hat to them.
We stayed in the four poster room and it was *** amazing ***

Room Tip: The four poster room we stayed in has a little alcove to sit in and it was lovely.

My wife & I have spent 4 very pleasant nights here over the last few months. The rooms are just what one needs for a comfortable night away from home. WIFI works well all over the hotel.
The Lancashire breakfast is a main meal in its self, perfectly cooked with good quality local ingredients, especially the bacon, sausage, mushrooms & black pudding. Even with a slight hiccup on the booking a generous room upgrade and credit on the night cap drinks more than compensated. Might be a good idea to reconfirm booking a couple of nights in advance of an earlier reservation.
Any hyper critical negative previous comments are difficult for us to comprehend.
We'll definitely make this our home from home on future visits to the beautiful Ribble valley.
