Stayed at this hotel on a 2 day business trip. Room was spotless, staff were excellent very friendly and the evening meal I had on the first night was very good value for money.
The safety was really good too as there was card access into individual corridors so people couldn't wander around the bedroom areas.

Would definately recommend and stay there again.

Very comfortable overnight stay. Room spotless and in good condition. Shower not that great. Very quiet. Very central location, however parking is in nearby car park. Would definitely stay again. No complaints.

Paid £30 a night for a twin room over a weekend. Good location for the centre of preston. Very helpfull staff and very clean sleek rooms as ive come to expect from premier inn's. Car parkins situation was a bit complcated however this is not the hotels problem. My suggestion would be for the hotel to speak with euro park and maybe get a system where guests dont have to buy tickets every 10 hours. great stay overall cant fault the place.

The Premier Inn hotels are always incredibly comfortable, clean and great value - and this Preston location is no exception. Great location. Couldn't be more central. Thank you so much for improving the parking situation. You obviously listen to customer feedback and strive to please guests. Having to get out of bed at o'dark hundred to feed the pay&display was a deal breaker when considering places to stay in the area, but no longer. Everything is great and we will return.

We stayed at this hotel over the new year and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are really friendly and accommodating, especially the chef who accommodated our large party of 17 adults, 6 children and 3 babies on New Years eve. He arranged for all our starters to come out at the same time, followed by the other courses without any hiccups. The staff at this hotel go over and above to make sure that you enjoy your stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed at this Premier Inn for two nights in January, and booked at the winter sale price (£19 for Friday and £29 for Saturday). Overall the hotel is excellent, everything is fresh and new and it's only a two minute walk in to Preston centre/Fishertgate area. Room was spacious, warm, quiet and comfortable. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was perfect and very reasonably priced. All the staff we encountered were polite and very felpfull and a credit to the Premier Inn group.

Only one minor gripe and it's worth knowing about:
The hotel does state that no parking is available but a nearby NCP car park is available with an overnight hotel rate of £8.20. Unfortunately this "overnight rate" is valid only from 3pm to 10am the following day, so if like us you are booked in for two nights, you have to move the car before 10am or return and by four seperate tickets at the "normal" rates which worked out at £12.20 for 24 hours. Also if the guy at the NCP hut had not explained to me how to do this I would never have figured it out, as the pay and display machines will not take up to 24 hours on one ticket. All in all a bit of a pain.
If Premier Inn could negotiate a proper 24 hour deal even if slightly more expensive, say £10, this would be far better than faffing around and having to go back to replace tickets or having to move the car.

Putting the issue of car parking aside however, the hotel itself is excellent and for the price could not be faulted, and I would definitely recommend it. I've paid a lot more for so called prestige hotels and not got the service we received here.

After researching the hotel before our stay, we were not disappointed- in fact it exceeded all our expectations!

The visit was multipurpose: A base for visiting the north west, family and to revisit my old student haunts!

Ideally located in the heart of Preston, it provides an ideal base for shopping, and sightseeing.

The building itself is attached to a listed property, and shares it with some business residence- although still so new ( at least it feels that way) - Jan 2013- that no one has taken them yet.
The entrance is secure, key entry only after 11pm, you have to get in a lift and once upstairs, the corridors feel freshly built. New carpet smells, neat and clean walls and rooms.
There is a restaurant in the building, as well as a bar area, and an area for Internet on PCs.
There is no on site car parking, but a local euro parks is secure for only £5-7 overnight.

The rooms were large, clean and also felt newly done. We had a large sofa too. Room 108 had a view up Corporation Street, but although on the main junction, you could hardly hear the cars.
The bed, well all I can say is WOW!
Lovely high up bed with a firm comfy mattress, that you literally can just fall into ( not unlike Lenny Henry in the adverts!) it provided the best night sleep I've had in months.

The staff just couldn't do enough for us. And as we didn't have spare pillows, they went out of their way to ensure they found us some. ( thanks Stephen!)

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: Ideally located centrally.
