Internally the hotel is OK. Room & bathroom were a reasonable size (both very clean), but no better than a budget travel lodge type place. The dining area and reception were functional. On the downside, it's in a pretty depressing location next to a bus station which would probably only appeal to people with a nostalgia for horrendus 60's architecture. The carpark is a waste of time, a handful of spaces that are always full.
A functional hotel, I assume the slightly expensive rate (around £70) reflects its central city location rather than the hotel itself.
Would probably try somewhere else first before re-booking.
