“Good day out...”

You'll need to rely on your sat nav to find it as the signs are lacking so rely on the postcode!

Plenty of parking on site and a good amount of picnic tables to eat at if you don't fancy the cafe...ice cream is good!

Good walks around the area and plenty of animals to look at...look out for feeding times and petting time for the kids in the barn!

“The weather may be miserable but Bowland Wild Boar Park is a WINNER!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

The weather was pretty grim but our day at the Boar Park was fantastic!
What a wonderful way to spend a few hours busily entertaining five children - and two mums...playing in the hay bales, go-cart rides, lamb feeding, stroking baby chicks, watching the meerkats and racoons being fed, playing in the park with two fun zip-wires and to top the lot: a bucket-tractor ride!
The ice-cream was delicious too.
Thank you Tom and Rachel for being so wonderful with our kids. We'll be back!!

“Brilliant day out”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

Visited the boar park today. Really enjoyed having a walk around and looking at the animals. Farmer Joe was his usual chirpy self. Took a picnic and enjoyed this on one of the benches. Lovely location & great for adults and kids.

“Great value for money ”
Reviewed 17 May 2014 via mobile

A really good day out. There's just so much to do and £20 - £30 for a family of 4 to go out for the day is value for money.

I think what makes its such a good day is that there is always something going on. You can just jump from one activity to the next.

We've been regular visitors for the last few years and it never fails to impress.

I would conceded however that if it was a rainy day, probably not the best place to go. Most of the activities are outside.

“Great for younger children”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

We had visited here 2 or 3 times previously when we had stayed at the nearby Gibbon Bridge hotel, but this was the first time that we had taken our 5 year and 5 week old boys.

We have enjoyed all of our visits but with regards to children it is probably best for those roughly 10 or below.
When we had been before it had been during term time and lamb feeding sessions were pretty much ad hoc but in the holidays there were a lot of children (and adults) wanting to feed the lambs and pet the chicks. The staff managed it very well, even accommodating some very late arrivals.
You can also feed llamas and deer which is lovely for children and adults alike, there are tractor-pulled barrel rides, trails a large playground and a nice cafe.

We found the staff, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and it is a great value place to go for 3-5 hours.
