Description: The Nabs Head Hotel is situated in the hamlet of Nabs Head, Samlesbury within the picturesque countryside just outside the city of Preston and not far from Blackburn & Chorley. This delightful pub is the ideal watering hole for weary travellers (cyclists, walkers, runners, families, etc.), We serve proper Lancashire food in a warm and friendly environment. In partnership with Daniel Thwaites Brewery we have 4 Beer Engines showcasing seasonal ales and guest beers from the Crafty Dan Brewery.

Met with family for lunch, hadn't been before and found Nabs Head on the internet as somewhere central to us all to meet. What a gem of a place! Friendly staff, very pleasant atmosphere (no loud music playing!) and delicious food. Best salad I have had in ages at a pub. We'd come back without hesitation if in the area again. Thank you to the lovely man behind the bar for making us feel welcome and excellent service.

What a great pub. Home cooked food to order, nothing is much trouble. Have visited a couple of times, and have to say the bar staff are fantastic. Very friendly. Can't fault this pub at home. Great country friendly pub.
