Description: The Yew Tree offers a great new look and fantastic menu. Now open for breakfast from 9.00am to 11.30am, then the full menu is served all day through till 9pm Monday to Saturday and *pm on Sundays. We are family friendly and have a kids menu, high chairs and baby change facilities. As well as benches to the front of the pub we also have a decked terrace for alfresco dining and relaxing afternoons! We revised our dogs policy in January 2016 and now welcome dogs and their well behaved owners in the top bar area and adjacent carpeted area. Obviously weather permitting they are also welcome on the tables at the front or on the decking area. Water bowls and dog biscuits are available. We hope to see you soon!!

Lovely food and atmosphere, such a nice comfortable place to chill out and have a bite to eat! Wish there were some more vegetarian options on the main menu though, the cheese pie and veg lasagne are lovely but would be nice to have a bit more choice, like a pasta dish or even a quorn option? Doesn't put us off though! :)

My friend and I have been going for breakfast as a way to catch up recently and he recommended we try the Yew Tree. It was a really pleasant environment and the staff were very polite and friendly. The food took a little extra time to arrive but it was worth it for freshly cooked breakfast and the food was delicious. All in all it was a lovely meal and would absolutely recommend it for breakfast every time.

We had to be up early to drop the motorhome off for a service, missed the alarm and in too much of a rush to get even a coffee. The sign outside the Yew Tree pub, just off the London Way as you head south out of Preston said 'Breakfast'. A lifesaver. Dropped the truck off and dived in. Steaming mugs of coffee, followed by a leisurely Full English (including black pudding) and coffee top-ups set us up for the day. Approx £8 a head and there's veggie options. We'll be back.

Visited with my partner and her parents. The yew tree has undergone a high spec' refurbishment since the new management took over. The place has a clean, unspoilt finish and looks really nice. Upon entering you are greeted by friendly, curteous staff. We were seated quickly in the location we wanted to sit and enjoy our food. We ordered drinks of which there was plenty to choose. Try the Moot Cider. Very nice. Menu has something for all taste buds and the specials were just the same.
Our food came in an efficient manner and was really well presented. The food tasted just as good as it looked and came exactly as you would want. The portions are a good size too so you will feel pleasantly filled once finished. I would definitely recommend the Yew Tree for somewhere to eat, whether with friends, family or as a couple.
Many thanks to the staff for a pleasant visit. Will definitely be back soon.

Me and my wife recently visited The Yew Tree along with a few friends, we promtely shown to a table by a waitress who took our drinks order ,the atmosphere was very pleasant in the dining area with a nice open plan look to near by tables .Our meal order was shortly taken, after 15 minuets our meal was served to us by a polite ,but rater overworked waitress, who was rushed off her feet , the meal was excellent apart from our chips of which tasted like frozen chips ,the only other exception is the wine which was extravagantly priced at over £11 plus per bottle .Overall we had a good night and will return to the restaurant again .

Thanks Bryan, That's a great review and whilst our chips aren't frozen they are bought in par fried, but the good news is that we changing our menu on the 19th June and we are moving to home made chips! Not much I can do with the wine as £11 a bottle is a somewhat modest. We hope to see you again soon!
