Fishergate is literally round the corner from the main railway station and features shops, banks and places to eat. The Fishergate Shopping Centre itself isn't the largest in the world, but it has a few big names such as Debenhams and Primark and other, smaller units including Strawberry Moon which has some nice fashion items as well as a good selection of handbags and purses.
The Centre has typical eating places like McDonalds as well as the Moka cafe. The toilets are clean and modern.
Given the close proximity to the station, I tend to visit the Centre when I've got some time to kill between train connections.
Despite being a fairly modest little centre, it's clean, tidy and pleasant enough to walk round. Next time I'm in Preston I'll certainly go there again.
