Very quiet room at the back of the Premier Inn. The receptionist was very helpful
and easy to chat to. The room could have done with some cleaning and decoration. My husband had a very large hot tasty english breakfast the next day. Coffee was very weak though. I had the continental breakfast. The porridge was tasty and filling. The waitress heated up my croissant .Large buffet.

Room Tip: Choose at the back of the building away from the main road

Stayed at the end of January and it was bitterly cold outside but the welcome from the staff was warm and friendly. The room was clean, tidy and warm. Although our room overlooked the carpark it was quiet and we had a great nights sleep. The pub next door was a good choice to eat and chill out for the reunion with our friend. The food was ok and again the staff were friendly. Room £29 great value.

We stayed here after a wedding, turnmg up at midnight and leaving the next morning.

You really can't fault this - superb location for getting to and from, nice welcoming staff, comfy bed and pitch black room meaning excellent sleeping.

For £29.

Great value, great Premier Inn.

Room Tip: Room 10, at the back, faced onto woodlands and was dark and quiet. The front side faces the road...

Very friendly and helpful staff, but this hotel is an older type, so no surprise that a wheelchair-user couldn't possibly use the shower. Not that this is acceptable, though.. Good night's sleep and breakfast.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are nice and quiet!

Overall, very good. Good location for Blackpool without actually being in Blackpool itself. Very friendly staff who engaged well with the children, and excellent breakfast. We were in Room 1, closest to the reception area, so inevitably heard a bit of comings and goings through the first door from that area into the corridor, but no big disturbances, to be honest. Would definitely stay here again for visiting Blackpool.

We stayed here in February as we were meeting friends in Blackpool (20mins drive away) the following day. The hotel is adjoining a Hungry Horse pub. The hotel is clearly set up to look like a Premier Inn but you can tell that it has suffered years of neglect and is looking quite tired. That said the rooms are comfy, as are the beds and the room clean and tidy. There is an electric heater in the room but I couldn't figure out how to switch in on or set the controls. The bathroom is quite small compared to most other premier inns and we found black mould around the edge of the bath. We were staying with two infants in the room and as I'd booked in advance had asked for a cot. On arrival in the room there was no cot - just a low level bed (see photo) which was hardly suitable for a 1 year old baby. Fortunately Premier Inn have made this mistake a little too often for my liking and I'd brought two travel cots with us. When I told reception she looked horrified but didn't offer to do anything about it.

The adjoining pub was very lively in the evening and we felt unsuitable for our two young children. The route to the breakfast room in the morning was up a flight of 3 stairs in what appears to be an area much frequented by smokers out the back of the pub. If you have kids in a pushchair then you need to go round to the front of the pub to get in. The breakfast food was faultless and really tasty.

The Satnav post code is a little bit off the mark. Look for the Texaco petrol station and the hotel is exactly opposite it. Coming from Preston it is on the right hand side of a 50mph dual carrigaway.

Stayed 3 nights over xmas with wife and daughter. Was fully aware of room 17 being a damp room to avoid by a previous poster but guess what room we got on check in? Yup room 17. It was damp and smelly so moved to another room. That smelt a bit also. Staff very helpful but room 17 avoid as damp and a few others a bit dodgy smelly as well. Apart from that all ok.

Room Tip: Avoid room 17 and 8
