This hotel offered the hospitality of a wet fish in the face, overseas staff need lessons in customer care and cheerfulness. the parking is a nightmare you need a degree in physics to get in and out of the car park ..make sure your equipped a measuring tape or device of some sort ..trust me you gonna need it !!!

I have stayed in a few Travelodges and this one is no different , clean tidy and a very comfortable stay. I think value for money you cant get any better. This one in central Preston is a short walk away from the town centre . I feel if you are going to town from this Travelodge then to get a taxi as it is locared in a rough area of preston.

Stayed here with my wife & two children, we had a family room, very spacious and comfortable. Hotel was clean and well kept, the infamous car park wasn't as bad as some reviews have mentioned, we have a 4x4 and got in fine. Great price and definitely would return.

We had a 5night stay here in a family room in august 2014. When arriving we was met with an experienced but unhelpful reception member, when we got into our room we was pleased, not much space but nice and tidy. On the second day the beds was made lovely and the room was tidied. We had breakfast in the hotel which was very standard with them not having facilities to do any eggs but scrambled, the chef/breakfast lady was however very nice and welcoming, she went out of her way to be polite and as helpful as possible. We didn't think it was good value for money so didn't go back for breakfast again.
On the 2nd night our little boy had woke and was sick on his bed, we left a note on the bed for cleaners apologising and asking for it to be changed.. It didn't get changed at all for the next 3days, the room or bathroom was not cleaned again while we stayed but beds was made every day just not changed even tho one had visable sick on it.
When we booked on line we pre paid for wifi for the week, when we checked in this was not given to us, after realising we went to reception and asked.. We was met by the same person who checked us in along with another female colleague, they seemed to have there own overly funny joke at the desk while serving us, the lady did not speak to us she just looked on the computer, wrote the code down and handed it to us, while still engrossed in her conversation with her colleague.
On the 3rd day our key card wasn't working on the corridor door, the same reception lady walked past, we said it wasn't working.. She then opened the door with her card for us, when we got to our room our card wasn't working again (to which she would of known), I went to find the same lady, who tutted and huffed at us for daring to ask if she could let us in our room, at 8.30pm with two toddlers and handfuls of shopping.
After reporting to reception that only two channels on the TV worked we was told to try fix it ourself otherwise it's broke!
Safe to say we will not be staying again, as apart from the lovely breakfast lady on our first morning, this place lacks any customer service, any manners from staff in general and very poor cleaning staff!

As a family of 4 we just wanted a base close to Blackpool that was within our price range and this was great for our needs. Parking is tight but as the website states it is a listed building, a converted cotton mill, and we parked our people carrier with no problems. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was good value and yes we did have to ask for some things but there were lots of people having breakfast and could not keep up, it happens even in luxury hotels. If you want luxury then this is not the place for you but for somewhere to put your bags and sleep for 8hrs then no complaints

I can't fault it. the price was excellent we had a lovely clean room and staff were friendly, The price you pay offers great value for money and the hotel is handy for all local attractions like the pleasure beach and zoo etc: all within easy driving distance.
Yes the car parks a nightmare but its free so no complaints here
