We were upgraded to the main hotel which is much nicer than the annex. The rooms are beautiful, the staff were first class and the breakfast perfect

Stayed for one night for a wedding & supposedly at a special rate as with the wedding party which still cost us £175 for the night & to think we could have stayed at the Holiday Inn down the road at half the price! For that price I would have expected everything but no tea & coffee making facilities in the room or mini bar! The hotel was a little tired in places & staff were friendly but hotel definitely overpriced! We arrived a little early in the morning after a 3hr journey & the room was not ready so & asked for coffee/biscuits which cost £11.50 for the 2 of us! Beautiful setting, nice hotel but we were disappointed!

Room Tip: We stayed in Packwood, large room & bathroom.

Where do we start? This really has to be the best hotel we have every stayed in. Unfortunately we only stayed here for one night in April 2011 to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. But fortunately for us we were upgraded from the room we had booked in the Kings Suites to a Suite in the main house.

Our suite was the Eastcote room and it was beautiful. The room is on the corner of the building so it has double aspect windows looking out over the garden to the views beyond. The furnishings in the room were elegant, lavish and so comfortable. Nothing was overlooked, from lovey fruit and snacks to the CD's to play at your leisure, to the beautiful toiletries in the gorgeous bathroom. The bed was a huge king size bed and it has to be the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. The location is semi-rural, so you are guaranteed peace and quiet.

On arrival we were asked if we would like tea or coffee in our room and within a few minutes we were served a beautiful afternoon tea, with a teapot with real tea leaves as well as plunger coffee and biscuits. So lovely.

We had booked dinner in the dining room for our special night and we weren't disappointed. We had champagne in the lounge as we decided which menu to choose. We opted for the 45GBP per person three course menu and it was fabulous. No wonder they have the Relais & Chateaux rating, the food was amazing. Each mouthful was a taste sensation, even down to the petit fours served with coffee at the end. I was a little worried that such an exclusive place would have reserved staff but I have to say that all the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the lovely waiter who served our dinner and recommended the loveliest selection of cheeses for me to have with my coffee.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Mallory Court Hotel and wish we could have stayed another night. Thank you so much for making our anniversary night so incredibly special. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Room Tip: Hopefully you will get an upgrade like we did.

We have been lucky enough to stay in some great hotels and the Relais and Chateaux guide has always served us well. Even by the high standards set within this group the level service from Mallory Court was simply fantastic. The staff were always polite, helpful and friendly, there were also several small personal touches to set this hotel apart and showed clear attention to every detail. This made for a great environment for our break.
We stayed in the main house, which is a beautiful building and the rooms were spacious and very well set out. They had views over the herb gardens to the countryside beyond as well as every facility you require.
We dined in both the brassiere and in the main restaurant and the quality of the food in both was exceptional, again the service was impeccable. The brassiere is more modern and relaxed where as the dining room offers a more indulgent, formal experience. Both equally nice!
To relax there are several lounges within the main house, these have comfortable sofas and open fires which give the place a homely feel, the staff drift quietly in and out to ensure your every need is provided for but without imposing on whatever you wish to do.
We were also fortunate enough to attend one of the cookery classes, I would strongly recommend this if you get the opportunity! We had a very diverse group and yet everyone was able to be involved, questions were welcomed and people were able to participate if they wished. The group size was also very well planned, small enough that everyone got personal attention yet large enough that you did not feel focused on. The group were able to request what demonstrations took place which meant everyone seemed to gain a lot from the experience as well as testing the chef’s and sampling great food.
All in all we could not recommend the hotel enough and we will look forward to returning in the future.

Having spent a night at their sister hotel, The Arden in Stratford-upon-Avon, we had high expectations of the Mallory Court. We weren't disappointed – it was idyllic. On arrival, we were upgraded to a room in the main house, by a charming receptionist, who was friendly without being too 'matey'. The room was beautiful, with a sofa and dining area overlooking the herb gardens at the rear of the hotel. The bathroom could have been used in an episode of Poirot (making a change from Burgh Island) with what appeared to be period tiles and updated fittings. We had drinks on the terrace, overlooking the rolling countryside and manicured lawns of the hotel. In the evening, after a brief walk around the beautifully-kept gardens, we were shown to a lounge (one of two or more), where we were shown the menu and offered some delicious appetisers, including Parmesan Popcorn, mini duck wraps and rice and Parma ham bob bons. The restaurant in the main building has a Michelin Star, but there is a less formal and highly-rated Brasserie in a newer part of the hotel. We were lucky to have chosen the main restaurant, which is oak-paneled and traditional in decor – totally the opposite of the modern and perfectly presented food. Every dish was memorable and reasonable value at around £60 per person for a three-course à la carte meal including Coffee and petit fours. The waiters were impeccable, both efficient and friendly and there was no trace of stuffiness or pretension. The following morning we took breakfast in the same restaurant which was plentiful and well-cooked. The Eden Collection, which owns both this and The Arden have two other hotels, which we can't wait to try. If anyone is looking for a totally relaxing, yet indulgent break, they would have to go a long way to have a better time than at the Mallory Court.

I celebrated my dad's 60th Birthday here with 12 other family members last month.
Probably the best room I have ever stayed in - huge, spotless, comfortable, great.
Fantastic (Michelin star quality) food and service.
Great hotel and look forward to going again if I get the chance.
