We have been using PawPaw as our preferred Chinese / Cantonese takeaway for around 5 years or so and had always found the food to be consistently good.

Of late the food has been increasingly getting poorer.

This Saturday we thought to try our luck again.

This was our worst experience to date. The service was lack luster (we collected) the cooking viewing we experienced was frenzied and disorganised.

On viewing and tasting our food at home - the now very shallow containers were half full.

The shallow containers were less than full - the food tasted like pure salt and if you prefer very little beef or chicken then this is the place to go. As per the heading this is a dreadful shame - from good to absolutely terrible - what is the management thinking of - we will not return to PawPaw nor will recommend their fare.

A very disappointed Whitnash resident.

Food is OK, nothing to write home about. There are so many Chinese restaurants in the area to choose from. Most deliver, PawPaw do not. Prices are all in the same ballpark locally. Look online, read some other local reviews. Have one delivered for the same money and save yourself the walk and weekend queue.

I really enjoy eating out and takeaway food and have lived in Warwick for many years. PawPaw is the best Chinese takeaway food I have ever eaten but it is not the cheapest, in my opinion you get what you pay for. While you wait to pick up your meal you can see the chefs preparing the food, it looks very clean and the staff are very polite. When friends and family come to stay and fancy a takeaway we always recommend PawPaw.
