We had Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that it is the best Sunday lunch I have ever had! (except my own of course) All of the veg was fresh and the Yorkshire puddings were amazing, the crackling on the pork was just perfect.
I will look forward to going back for more very soon.
Thank you

Trendy place. The serving of food is done well. Big menu - pulled beef bap was amazing! It's a random one but eat here! Worth the money

We come to the Duke regularly usually in quite a big group. At £2 for house cider and lager you cant really go wrong. The food is always cracking and cheap as chips! Definitely try the burgers and pizza! Service is always really friendly and quick, usually in the face of a busy bar. Cant recommend it enough!

Only popped in on the off chance they were still serving food after I finished work. Had the pork belly with all the Sunday trimmings. And couldn't fault it. A lot of places try too hard. This was exactly what my rumbling tummy needed. And it was cheap as chips too. Only down side was seeing the chef come out with his trousers a little lower than a builder. But hey, he knows how to make some good crackling and a damned good Yorkshire pud. I will be back over and over again.

I have only been to this establishment during the day so cannot judge what it is at night. During the day it attracts all ages and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff are friendly and efficient. The decor is best described as groovy and highly original. And now to the food - excellent value and of a very high quality. The homemade soup is delicious and has real depth of flavour. On a Sunday there is an excellent roast dinner option and you can't beat it for price or quality. The beef is tender and if you order the chicken you get half a chicken. The vegetables are properly cooked i.e. not mush. Have never had a bad meal here. Oh, and the breakfasts are great as well.
