We walked past this restaurant a few weeks ago, thought the menu looked good and decided to try them on Friday night 2 weeks ago. We were the first diners to arrive so had an opportunity to talked with the chef briefly. They only opened in Leamington 3 months ago, but they have another restaurant in Coventry, called Habibi I think.
The menu has some interesting non-alcoholic drinks including freshly made fruit smoothies. Alcoholic drinks can be bought from the Loosebox bar. The starters we had were delicious and really generous in portion size. Our main courses were also very tasty, the lamb in the lamb and couscous dish we had was very tender.
We have visited Aqua in Warwick and Meze in Leamington for middle eastern meals. I would say Leila is on a par with Aqua in terms of food but better than Meze. It's very good value too. We really enjoyed our meal here and will definitely return. The restaurant was very quiet when we were there, hopefully more people find out about it and try it. I should mention that they only accepted cash when we went.
