Stayed in this hotel last night, husband was dreading it after reading the reviews.
Prompt service for room key, friendly guy on reception. Lots of stairs, but we can all do with a bit of extra exercise!
The room was a bit tired, scuffed walls, carpets could do with replacing. Bathroom floor felt unstable! Bed was extremely comfy, sheets clean, pillows comfy. Noise wasn't a bother from the bar, as we were on the top floor.
The only noise we heard was the couple rowing/shouting in the room next door early in the morning... Good location, good price. Close, cheap car park just round the corner. Poked my head around to the breakfast area, tables were clean, well stocked counter, did not eat as we were in a rush.
Not the Ritz, but not a hostel either.

As a place to rest your drunken head this will just about do. But I won't be returning. Unless to collect an item I left there if they every live up to their promise to call me back. Scruffy not clean and in a rough part of town this is not the way to see Leamington. Do not take your other there, it will backfire. I have given it 2 stars because my stay was only £40 on a night when the travel lodge quoted me £87. In truth it may have been a little overpriced.

Avoid this hotel at all costs - The rooms are dirty - stains on the floor, mould in the bathroom - seriously an awful experience - breakfast is non existent - the bar restaurant staff more worried about serving beer to customers at 8.30am rather than providing a decent breakfast - no spoons, no milk and no presentation.

This hotel appear to be a 'doss house' and I imagine more suited to either homeless families or 'down on their luck' single guys needing a pint glass to cry into.

Worse hotel I have ever stayed in

I was pleasantly surprised. Great value for money, room was very clean and a good continental breakfast provided. Friendly staff and free wifi came in handy. I had large flat screen TV. Excellent value for money.

We booked online, not knowing this place was above a pub that shuts it's loud pumping music off at 2am... We were put in a double room that should only be a single, bed pushed against the wall/window, you couldn't get through the door as it only opened 45 degrees, definite health & safety risk. The bed was clean but the floor and bathroom were dirty.

I would only stay here if you don't plan on sleeping at all.

Not as noisy as anticipated, the climb to our top floor room was not what we needed with two large bags. The four poster was clean and comfortable, the bathroom floor felt like it would fall in at any minute. The shower screen fell off completely in my hand!

DIY breakfast was ok but nothing special. This was ok as a bolt hole for one night, the trek from the nearest available parking space to the hotel was not the best start to the weekend.

Anyway, we survived but not again.

Room Tip: Unless you are fit stay on the lower floors

We booked it, and as always I pointed out that my wife was disabled. As I received no answer, we assumed... Well we arrived to find (A) No lift, and (B) 20 steps from the street to the reception, which was above a bar, which had music blaring away until the early hours. The so called double was really a single with the double bed pushed against the wall. Not easy to get in and out of. The shower was falling apart. The bar staff were helpful when it came to taking the luggage up those stairs, but would never use this place again. (Oh the mattress was so thin you could feel every spring. If the was a rating less than one, they would rate it.

Room Tip: Read the reviews, and perhaps somebody should start a disabled rating for hotels.
