Description: Located right in the heart of town on busy Regent Street, just outside the Royal Priors shopping Centre, boasting great features such as our very own Rouge bicycle, private dining rooms, feature walls, and cinema style seating, we're the perfect place to while away the afternoons. Come and discover our brand new "Chocolate room" which can seat up to 12 guests or our "Champagne room" for 8, and make your celebration that extra bit special. The best bit is, there's no hire charge for either room. Or, if you fancy dining al fresco, we've got a great outdoor terrace that can seat up to 24 guests.

When my partner and I lived in Warwick we would often come to Cafe Rouge for lunch or maybe an evening meal so when We visited yesterday (21/06/14) with our daughter We felt very let down by our experience.
It took quite a while for our server to come to our table but she was very polite when she finally did come, we placed our order and this is where it started to fall to bits..
My daughter and I ordered a ceasar salad WITHOUT anchovies, and my partner ordered a baguette, when they arrived the baguette did not have any cheese on so it so it was returned to the kitchen where it got brought out again with a sole slice of cheese on a side plate! It was then sent back as it was meant to be melted into the baguette. Anyway our salads arrived and both were filled with the anchovies that we had both requested not to have, and we also had to request the fries to be brought to the table as they hadn't come out almost 10 minutes after the rest of the food had arrived. Apart from that the food tasted ok.
The toilets i have to say were dirty and grubby and not just because it was a Saturday it was ground in dirt. I'm really sorry to write such a negative review but that's the way it was on our visit and I have to say we will not return which is a shame as we used to be a regular visitor to this restaurant.

Five adults with one coeliac had great meal. Lots on offer gluten free, plus they went the extra mile to give alternatives. Very helpful and friendly manager. Will definitely go again when in the area.

We use Cafe Rouge mainly because it is a known brand and does not vary much across the country. In Leamington Spa for one (Saturday) night we did have a look at other Tripadvisor offerings but plumped for good old Cafe Rouge as it was the only place that appeared fairly busy (can be a good sign). Not having booked we had to wait for about one minute whilst a check was made before being seated - so full marks there.

It's been a long time since we have used a Cafe Rouge so were interested to have a look at the new (to us) menu and were pleasantly pleased. Our choices were both excellent and all washed down with a reasonably priced bottle of red.

We did notice that a fellow diner was concerned to only choose from dishes with no trace of nuts and with minimal hassle the waiter returned complete with an itemised list of ingredients for all dishes and their accompaniments - first class service Cafe Rouge.
