Description: Restaurant 23 has been a fixture in Leamington Spa since opening in 2006, moving to our current Grade II-listed home in 2012. Throughout this time we have forged an impressive culinary reputation, showcasing the finest local and seasonal produce with precise, modern cooking. We hold 2 AA Rosettes and regularly feature in The Good Food Guide. In addition to the restaurant with its three rooms seating up to 60, Morgan's Bar offers brunch, afternoon tea, refined bar food and cocktails either inside or on the terrace. We look forward to welcoming you.

“Meeting the Son's future in-laws for the first time!”
Reviewed 6 May 2014

We needed to meet up with my son's future in-laws for the first time! (And needed to sample the Champagne we're providing for the forthcoming wedding - very accommodatingly, the restaurant charged a small corkage for the bottle I brought along). So Restaurant 23 was a bit of an unknown shot in the dark.

It more than met all expectations!

The pre-arrival procedure was thorough and gave us confidence that this was a restaurant that was in control. We booked the 'Library' room for lunch on a Saturday. The whole calming feel of the restaurant was ideal, the staff attentive without being obtrusive, the food well-prepared, without being pretentious - and very good value for money. The wine list was comprehensive - and although you could push the boat out and really get stuck into some serious wines there are plenty of really good ones at a sensible price. Canapes were lovely and really good value!

So - we'd definitely go back again!

And then of course there's lovely Leamington Spa. (Very convenient parking a minute from the Restaurant 2). Go - you'll enjoy it - and not come away thinking you've paid far too much for not very much!

Highly recommended.

Well executed lunch with great service and a nice atmosphere. The restaurant goes from strength to strength. Leamington's best fine dining.

“Exceptional”
Reviewed 5 May 2014 via mobile

Went for lunch a few weeks back. If I owned a restaurant, this is exactly how I would want it to look and feel.

Food was superb-such amazing attention to detail and so varied. Was thoroughly impressed with the whole experience.

Would strongly recommend

“Fantastic afternoon tea and service”
Reviewed 4 May 2014 via mobile

I surprised my mum with a sparkling afternoon tea at Restaurant 23 for her 60th and was so glad I did. The service was excellent. I mentioned it was my mum's birthday when we arrived and minutes later the petit fours arrived with 'Happy Birthday' written on the plate which was a lovely touch.
The sandwiches, cakes (excellent lemon drizzle and rich chocolate), scones (very fresh, so good!) and petit fours were all very good and tasted very fresh. You get unlimited tea and coffee with lots to choose from.
I'd definitely recommend this as a treat! Sometimes it's worth paying a bit more - you won't be disappointed!
