This place surprised me, in a good way. But the key is make sure you choose the junior suite or studio, or whatever it's called. That's in the new wing where all the rooms are newly renovated. Huge bathroom, spotless space, and roomy bedroom with adjacent sitting separate sitting area. It's actually quite charming. My friend got a regular room (and the price isn't that much cheaper) in the other side close to the reception (room #1). That room was a little old, and somewhat depressing. After seeing hers, I was so happy that I paid that little extra and had a room twice the size.
The breakfast was ok with limited choices. The dinner menu wasn't that much better. The shower in my room was a little small. The location is perfect as I had the whole week meeting at the university, where there were convenient stores you could buy things for your room. The staff were very nice and friendly, and extremely helpful. At least they tried. Overall, a very good experience.
