“Pretty standard premier Inn - always decent”

Stayed here for one night as a stop over. I have to admit that if I was staying in Lancaster itself, I'd want to be closer to the City Centre, but as we were driving down the M6 this hotel was perfect. Decent breakfast, helfull staff, large clean rooms, free parking, very quiet despite being on the main road, what more can I say?

One of the best nights sleep ever, such comfort, and the room was very clean and warm. Breakfast was great, help yourself to as much as you like. We have stayed in a lot of premier inns this one is highly recommended.

Stayed one night at this hotel as a stopover on the way to Scotland. Comfy hotel, friendly staff and excellent food. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Evening meal was great and bar staff very friendly.

The welcome at the hotel and the room cannot be faulted. No problems.

However, there were problems when it came to the restaurant. On going for dinner, I was kept waiting by the door for a good few minutes before being greeted and shown to a table. Staff walked past me during this time, I wasn't even acknowledged with a "Be with you in a minute". Had I not pre-booked a meal deal, I would have gone elsewhere to eat. The same thing happened at breakfast, but then I did at least receive an apology

Room Tip: Nice rooms, restaurant service needs improving

Enjoyed our one night break here which was a bargain at £19 as we had booked it a while ago.
We had to wait quite a while to check in at reception as the receptionist was on the phone but she did apologise and was very pleasant. We had a nice large room and everything was clean and comfortable. The room could have been warmer though and the heating did keep putting the thermostat down. There is loads of parking and you can walk into Lancaster by the river which is about 2 miles but all on the flat. We paid the £3 for 24 hour WIFI which worked fine.
The Brewers Fayre did let the hotel down as the buffet style breakfast was not hot enough. The continental selection was very good though so if we stay again we will just have that rather than the full breakfast. We had eaten there the night before and it was OK but nothing more and our young blonde waitress spent all her time chatting or daydreaming. She seated us and when we got up to get our soup a few minutes later she said goodbye to us. She also forgot about my dessert.

We stayed for one night in this excellent hotel. We had a ground floor family room with our 11 year old niece. The room was large, comfortable and extremely clean. We had a room near to the main road but encountered no real road noise. We had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Superb value for money. It's a better choice than the Holiday Inn across the road where we have also stayed.

The rooms are too cold. The thermostat states but they never show the real temp. I know what 23 degrees feels like and I was cold. i had to use the hairdrier and hot shower to raise the room temp.

Everything was excellent as usual.

Please address this problem
