“A full day of wild treats!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014 via mobile

This was my second visit to the park and I was surprised at how much had changed and developed in less than a year since but thats much of its appeal. Its constantly offering something new. It fills a whole day, I always learn something new and the enclosures are amazing, offering more space and features than any other zoo/wildlife park I've been to. Its staff are so helpful and full of information and im already planning another visit next year to see how the park developes further.

“Brilliant Day Out !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014 via mobile

What a great place to visit. This zoo is brilliant the first thing i noticed was how clean the place is. We (family of 10) arrived about 1 and left after 9pm. There is plenty to see and do. Took a picnic and we ate hot food in the evening. After looking at the animals, lions, cheeters, giraffes, tigers and many more there is a soft play and high slides the kids loved it. Face painting, ice-cream, and a bangless firework display. Amazing day out thoroughly recommend it. Dissapointed we didnt get to see Victor the polar bear he was sleeping and it took 1-hour to exit the carpark. Marks out of 10, definately 10.

“Fantastic day out !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

This is our third time here and once again we had a fantastic day.
There is always something new and exciting to discover and to learn.
The animals are well looked after and their enclosures are a good size and cater to their needs as much as possible . The polar bear had just arrived so this was an extra bonus for us along with the tigers, lions and various other animals. Viewing areas are fantastic.
This park has really been thought out.
The park is clean and well sign posted .
There are lots of toilets and hand washing facilities around the park.
We didn't eat there as we had picnic food but there were a few choices of cafes and restaurant and all were busy.
Staff all friendly and knew there stuff when giving talks about the various animals.
Brilliant day out and will definetly be going back soon.

“Yorkshire Wildlife Park, not to be missed”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

Fantastic day out for families or adults alone. Lots of picnic areas to sit and view the animals and enjoy the experience. Plenty of enclosed areas should it rain. Reasonably priced and nice takeaway or seated eating area. Large play area for kids gave adults chance for a rest. Great value for money and huge variety of animals that you were able to view closely or walk amongst.

“Ok place to visit once but take a picnic ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014 via mobile

Glad I didn't visit this place before because I would really have been disappointed. Good enclosures for the animals and nice to spend half a day walking round. Really disappointed by the food and drink facilities. Only two on site searching substandard overpriced food. I didn't have huge expectations ( as with all these types of attractions) but waited near half an hour to get served then another twenty to thirty minute wait for a pre frozen pork steak on a bun with chips (£7.50). Would have been a far better day if we had taken a small picnic
