Owner description: Sandall Park is an urban family park with plenty of attractions including wildlife, ducks and a bog pond, play areas, sports facilities, picnic areas and fitness trails. An angling club oversess the fishing of the main lake. Much of the maintenance is undertaken by volunteer member of Friends of Sandall Park including (but not limited to!) planting, weeding, upkeep of the toilets, etc. Friends of Sandall Park are a group of like minded people dedicated to improvement of the park for the benefit of visitors and wildlife. They work alongside various agencies.

This is a well kept local park, good for children and adults. It has plenty of space to walk or run about, a kids playground, a lake with wild fowl, on site parking and a cafe. The cafe is ok but no great shakes.

Thanks for the review. There’s a possible new cafe in the pipeline.

Very easy to park and get to. We often come for a walk round the lake which is a steady 20 minute stroll. We generally go round twice and the scenery is great

It’s a nice park with a nice cafe. Good for young children and a nice walk. Down side is lots of goose poo on the paths.
