“Beautiful cottage in a lovely, little Cotswolds town!”

The Green Knoll Cottage is a beautiful place to stay: very comfortable, lovely garden and located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Cotswolds!

Our family and friends joined up from Sydney, Boston & London for a brilliant stay here before Xmas. It was truly a home away from home for nine days which passed far too quickly. This is a wonderful cottage in a superb location - we had two trips from children and their friends from London and the proximity of the station at Moreton-on-Marsh was very welcome. Cosy evening fires, lovely walks and pubs - the cottage exceeded our expectations as our Cotswolds' base.We loved it!

Green Knoll is a fabulous Cotswold stone terraced cottage that faces the tiny village church of Broad Campden. It is set up off the road on a grassy bank which when we stayed in February was carpeted in snow drops. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. It has a beautiful large private back garden that had the weather been warmer would have been lovely to sit in. Despite the cold weather the huge log burner in the sitting room kept us very toastie. We felt at home the minute we stepped through the doorway and the wine, eggs butter bread milk and tea and coffee were very much appreciated. The village is tiny with no shop but does have a very nice pub which is two minutes walk from the cottage. Chipping Campden is a two minute drive and that has a range of small shops. We have stayed in several cottages in the Cotswold area over the years and this is the best.
