Reviewed 17 July 2011

We was very impressed with the hotel, staff were very friendly and welcoming, our room was very in keeping with the period in which it was built, and loved the 400 year old four poster bed. Lunch was was fab sandwiches was very fresh and service quick, dinner in the restaurant was lovely and cooked to a very high standard. Breakfast was also of a very high standard. We loved everything about our stay here and would recommend it, looking forward to our next visit.

Stayed here for the weekend after very last minute booking. Firstly, the location was fantastic, slap bang in the middle of Chipping Campden. The building itself was in keeping with the beautifully rendered town and had an unassuming yet quietly comfortable feel to it.

The room itself was unassuming yet full of character, had an excellent en suite bathroom and shower along with all youd expect from a humble 3* hostelry, with a very comfortable King Size bed.
The breakfast was ample and good quality, served by dilligent and curteous staff and was available from 7-11am which was well suited to those that like to lie in of a weekend morning.
The bar was well stocked, the prices very reasonable, providing an excellent place to conclude a day of exploring the Cotswolds.

Genuinely not a bad word to say about the place. Highly recommended.

We stayed here as a family of three traveling with our 17 year old. The hotel provided a large and very nice room with a very comfy king bed and a comfy single bed for our teen who is 6'1''. The bath was great - a large tub to soak in with plenty of hot water, and also a shower. (The towels were nice and big and fluffy.) We did not feel crowded at all.

The breakfast that comes with the room is fantastic and very filling. Make breakfast your large meal of the day! The restaurant is also good (as is the pub) and doesn't seem to be too much pricier than other places in town.

Free wi-fi works very well in the front rooms at least.

It is a very comfortable, cozy, clean hotel. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to assist you.

We would stay here again without hesitation!

Room Tip: Probably book more in advance than we did.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights - June 23rd to 26th - and had a pleasant stay. Good breakfasts - limited range but very tasty - each morning. Room (no. 19) a bit chintzy but good. Nice enough bar. We didn't have lunch or dinner here so can't comment on them. Useful info from reception about local walks. If you want to spend a quiet weekend in the town, this is a good place for it!

Stayed here with the family for three nights in June. Great location right on High Street. Comfortable rooms with huge bathrooms. Happening pub and a good restaurant. Delicious lamb curry. Terrific breakfast. Recommended.

Have just spent two very enjoyable nights at the Noel Arms Hotel. We choose this hotel primarily because it is a dog friendly one and it appeared to meet our needs on paper. Well it lived up to our expectations. We had a room in the courtyard which was ideal for us with the dog and would book it again, however it was a tad noisy as you can hear traffic and conversations that are right outside the room. Food was lovely and nicely served. We had a slight hic-up with housekeeping but it was easily and professionally resolved. The hotel has produced an excellent leaflet with three easy to follow walks which was excellent. We did all three during our stay and I would recomend that you try at least one of them if you go there.
