We stayed two nights over the New Year. Chipping Campden is a lovely village with plenty of small shops, coffee places, restaurants and pubs to keep us busy for a rainy couple of days. The hotel itself is much bigger than it looks - our room was down a complicated set of steps and corridors. It was a little dark with tired furniture but warm, comfortable and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and we found the breakfast and bar to be cosy and welcoming. Try the smoked salmon and eggs - very generous and delicious! We ate out at the Kings Hotel (very high quality) and the Eight Bells pub (lovely and traditional). Plus I would highly recommend a walk / short drive to the The Ebrington Arms which serves fantastic food by a cosy fire with great beers and service.
The Noel Arms is very well set up - offering to make dinner reservations and offering helpful advice when asked. They have a leaflet with three short walks around the area which was a nice touch. Would recommend - but there are also many pubs and smaller hotels in the area that might provide a more personal experience, which would be my preference for our next visit!

Popped in, unexpectedly, on Boxing Day and we were made very welcome. Our Table was made ready for us whilst we ordered our drinks. Lovely setting, good atmosphere, attentive staff and very fresh food. We will come back and highly recommend the Noël arms Hotel.

I have to admit that on first seeing the hotel I was not expecting much, but from the very first welcome to the last this is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were excellent, headed up by a general manager who could be seen, but went about his work quietly and efficiently...I like that and I think the work that he does is reflected by his staff who were not only courteous, but knowledgeable.
The room was nice and big and had a massive bed....I waved to my wife every morning!
The food was the icing on the cake, beautifully cooked and prepared, both in the evening and the mornings. A really good selection of meat, fish and vegitarian if you wished.
We never tried the sister hotel opposite as we were very happy where we were.
A wonderful place to explore this great area of England...we shall be back to this hotel for sure and are looking forward to our next stay...thanks to you all at the Noel Arms.

Room tip: Pay the extra for the upgrade! Well worth it.
