We agree with previous reviewers about the friendly and helpful staff at this old coaching Inn in one of the Cotswolds best villages. The breakfast and the dinner were delicious and freshly cooked and a good menu, with tasty curries. Any little query was sorted out in a positive way.
We had a lovely room overlooking the square, and felt this was very good value for money.
My only comment would be that the decor downstairs was less atmospheric than the bedroom, and it was more functional. We avoided the coffee shop ( watching our waistlines) but it was nice to see this being used by locals. This achieved a good mix between age groups with the wifi hotspot.
The manager and all staff went the 'extra mile' for us as hotel guests. Thank you and well done!

Room Tip: We had a superior double. Good sized room and large bathroom with two hand basins. We liked the fro...

Dear Judith M

Thank you for your lovely review. All our team here are friendly and like to go the extra mile to make a guest fell as relaxed as possible with us.

The coffee shop does get quite busy and is a little social hub during the day that is used by visitors to the town, our local guests and those who stay with us. Chef does prepare one or two things in the cake counter that help to not watch the waistline but most are fabulously naughty!

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again.

Regards

Andrew & Team Noel

On our arrival we were greeted by a very friendly efficient receptionist who explained what we needed to know about the hotel and its services. Our room was quaint, clean, and warm with a lovely bathroom, crisp towels, shower and bath. There were no sign that pets may have been staying with their owners in the room. Our room was cleaned to a high standard every day. We enjoyed a few drinks in the bar, the beer was good along with the service again from friendly staff. As for location the hotel is in the heart of the town, lovely local walks, and check out the spa opposite. We enjoyed our food which included evening meal and breakfast, again top marks for quality and service from friendly and helpful staff. Even the local people of the town were friendly. So all in all a great few days and close to several picturesque villages. Looking forward to the spring when we shall do it all over again!!!. One other thing great parking, drive through the arch way into the large court yard and you will find ample parking.

Room Tip: Room 27 Close to the car park very quiet

Dear Peter R

Thank you for your review. It seems you enjoyed every aspect of your stay which makes us happy. Yes, being in the center of Chipping Campden and having an ample car park makes us a great stop for visiting nearby villages. Within a few miles in every direction you will find another great Cotswold town or village and we are situated at the start and end of the famous Cotswold Way which provides great walks.

We are pet friendly but only certain rooms are allocated for our guests four legged friends and the rooms are always thoroughly cleaned after every stay.

Thank you again for commenting on our friendly staff & town. We look forward to welcoming you back in the spring.

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend away at The Noel Arms Chipping Campden - I cannot understand why this is a 3 star accomodation. The staff could not have been more helpful if they tried. The integral coffee shop kept my Husband well fed with delicious cakes and treats. Thwe evening dinners were sublime - the Chef is awsome and accomodated my dietary needs. We can't wait to return.

Dear szilady

Thank you for your great review. Suggesting we should be a four star property is a very nice compliment indeed! The kitchen team are great, and our cakes & bakes do prove very popular keeping our pastry chef very busy and we are always more than happy to fulfill any dietary requirement where we can.

We look forward to welcoming you back sometime in the future and please give us a call direct is you need any assistance.

My boyfriend and I spent a long weekend here, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We used to live just down the road but moved to Ireland, so it was nice coming back as a 'tourist/visitor'. Lovely country hotel with quality service and food. We had one of the more recently updates rooms at the rear of the hotel, just beautiful and very quiet. Hope to be back soon

Good weekend, here for the bite festival, a lovely hotel with friendly staff, a good size room ( room 1, superior room). Comfortable bed, good shower over bath. Lovely choice of food for breakfast, which was nicely presented and of good quality and tasted delicious. Hotel just a little pricey.

Dear alison m,

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the BITE weekend, a great one with a range of events in Chipping Campden and surrounding Cotswold towns and villages.

Strange that we are a little pricey, as our prices across the board are very competitive in comparison to other hotels in the area and The Cotswold's in general. Our room rates were lower than most that weekend. We are also consistently told that our products and services, from the coffee shop to the rooms are reasonably priced. We do have a few premium products amongst a well balanced selection.

Thank you for your comments regarding our service, food and comfortable bed and we do hope you return to sample them all again.

regards

We stayed at the Noel while visiting friends in nearby broadway.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly and professional receptionist and this was the tone for the whole weekend.
Great rooms at a good price and the whole hotel is a warm and friendly environment.
Dinner was fantastic and the black lamb curry is as good as it gets.
Highly recommend anybody to stay at this hotel.

Dear Funinabun

Thank you for a lovely review. How pleased we are to hear that our reception team set a great tone for your stay. Again the black lamb wins a guest over, it really is as good as they say.

Thank you for mentioning how warm and friendly our hotel is and for the recommendation. Hopefully we will see you again when visiting Broadway.
