Nice hotel an pub in a lovely little village! Rooms clean and spacious! Chipping Camden is lovely for a taste of the Cotswolds! Was staying there for work but would definitely return! Ideal for a couple break

Really lovely hotel with charm. Lovely food and catered well for dietary needs. Service a little slow on Saturday night but it was very busy. Looked after our four legged friend very well and great gin!

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a great location. Check in was very quick and we were shown directly to our room. The room was clean but quite small. The bathroom had a bath with a shower over and not a separate cubicle. Complimentary Toiletries were provided. A shower cap was available from reception. Our room was next to the staff room and during the early hours of the morning we did hear the creaking door open and close several times.

The reception staff were very efficient and provided all the information we asked for.

We eat lunch and dinner at the hotel. The food was good. There were plenty of options at Breakfast. On Sunday evening there was a folk band playing in the bar and the atmosphere was quite lively. There is a small lounge area which was a very pleasant area to sit in and have a drink and chat.

There was adequate parking in the hotel’s rear car park.

The Wi-Fi was very poor.

It's been here 700 years and your GPS will take you right to it, but you may not recognize it. The only clue is a small sign over the door and it is right across the street from the parking lot in the center of town. The other clue is that right next to the hotel is an archway that will take you down the alley into the hotel's parking lot. Helpful hint: do not park in the parking lot across the street, that will cost you money. It's a very nice hotel; all the rooms are on the second floor and the layout is a tad bit confusing but there is an entry from the parking lot that makes access pretty convenient. There are a number of eating establishments up and down the street from here, but many of them keep odd hours or have specific menus. We ended up right here at the hotel for dinner (supposedly you need reservations, but we did not) and the food was quite good.

Although only from Oxford we looked for a hotel reasonably nearby where we could take our little dog.We were delighted with our choice. The hotel is centrally situated in this lovely Cotswold town, less touristy than some others. All staff were friendly and efficient. Our room,in the newer extension, was adequate but lacked any individual touches. However what made our stay stand out was the quality of the food,I was surprised and delighted to find authentic and delicious Sri Lankan food on the dinner menu.I had the Black lamb curry and my wife the seafood curry. Both were outstanding and so far removed from the standard Bangladeshi menus found almost universally in the UK.
Breakfast was excellent. As well as a generous buffet, guests could choose from a varied menu cooked to order. My wife had the wild mushrooms on toast which she said was wonderful and much to my surprise I had the Sri Lankan breakfast with a lovely mild egg curry, rice and coconut cake.
