We spent 3 great nights at the lovely Seymour House in the most beautiful town of Chipping Campden for our bank holiday vacation, & it was fabulous; Sarah & her team run a luxurious boutique b&b. A great welcome, Sarah is lovely, very helpful & friendly,Inky the black Labrador gives you a wag of the tail to welcome you, you have your own access to come & go when you please, parking is free, right outside; Splendid rooms, huge comfy beds & spotless luxurious linen, coffee/tea making facilities with home-baked melt in the mouth biscuits; Mood lighting in the room & en-suite bathroom & lots of wardrobe space that lit up when the doors were opened; Loads of luxurious Cowshed toiletries in the bathroom; Breakfast was delicious, selections of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, compote, cooked breakfast to suite, I ordered cheese omelette, not on the menu & it was delicious, using local eggs & a local fabulous mature cheddar cheese. The house is huge, the town of Chipping Campden is gorgeous, lots of small intimate restaurants & old inns to dine in, that serve excellent food.Chipping Campden is a great location, just a short drive from all the other lovely towns in the Cotswolds.

Beautiful room and surroundings. Quite expensive, but sort of to be expected given the area and the place was quite luxurious. A bit disappointed that the host tried to rearrange our arrival time on the day due to needing to go out, but we worked it out in the end. Breakfast was very nice. As a young couple we found the accommodation and area in general to be more suited to older couples and there were mostly older people around when we were there. Overall the place was nice, but definitely the more expensive of those we have had throughout trip.

Room Tip: We had a room with ensuite which was very nice, though a lot of stairs. They also have self-containe...

We have just had three nights at Seymour House and we have had such a lovely stay. Sarah is a wonderful Host who really goes all out to make her guests feel welcome. Her warmth and attention to detail is reflected in everything here from the lovely rooms, excellent breakfasts and all the little touches in the rooms. She has thought of everything and we are very grateful for a lovely break as we drive all around England.

I was trying to make my review even better than the ones already here, but really they are completely accurate and I am more than happy to attest to them. We will stay here again for sure. Also, the location is the best in Chipping Camden as all the eateries and shops are all on the same street.

Thank You again Sarah :)

The Seymour House was one of our favourite stays in England. Sarah is a fantastic hostess with an eye for details. Great location, comfortable rooms, and fantastic breakfast. We absolutely loved it! The garden looked lovely too. Unfortunately, the weather was too damp to fully enjoy.

Room Tip: I think any room would be great.

My new husband and I just spent part of our honeymoon at the Seymour House and could not have been happier with our experience. Sarah was a gem of a hostess ... and the home itself was so cozy and inviting. Our room was very clean and comfortable--the robes, cookies and milk were such a sweet touch. My husband fell in love with Inky, the black lab. And we both fell in love with Chipping Campden. This made the BEST base for touring the Cotswolds! If you stay here, we highly recommend eating at Eight Bells. The meal we had there was one of the best of our entire trip. We hope to return!

We stayed at Seymour House for 3 nights while touring the Cotswolds, and it was certainly the most elegant B&B we stayed in on our 2-week trip to the UK. Sarah emailed me before we arrived and told me that she and her family would be on holiday during our stay, but Claire would be there to take care of us and we could not have been treated better. Seymour House has a very old history as a hotel in Chipping Campden and it is an historic structure, but it has been renovated to an extremely high standard - I was amazed at the electronic lighting controls. Breakfasts were very good and the house is centrally located in the town, with easy parking, and a few minutes walk to any number of good restaurants and pubs. I would recommend the Eight Bells and we ate dinner there twice. But make reservations early -- all the restaurants and pubs in Chipping fill up early on weekends.

We received a warm welcome to Seymour House - Inky the lovely black Labrador and tea and cake in the beautiful and homely dining/sitting room. Our room was delightful, comfortable and quaint, with special small touches like home-made biscuits, fresh milk, and flowers. Breakfast was great (delicious home-made granola) and our host Claire (the owners were away) was friendly, knowledgable and helpful regarding local restaurants and walks. Chipping Campden is a delightful town and Seymour House was a great choice for our stay. No hesitation at all in recommending highly.
