“Best scone we've ever had!”
Reviewed 26 June 2014 via mobile

During our ten day break to the Cotswolds we had one solid plan: Have a great afternoon tea, and boy did the Badger Hall deliver!

We decided to sit in the quaint tearoom surrounded by low beams, fresh flowers and a display of cakes that simply drew punters in off the street.

We were served by a charismatic lady who friendly chatted with us and served us a tasty homemade soup and freshly made sandwiches.

The star of the show was the scone. Served warm from the aga, with clotted cream and jam, it was quite simply the best scone I've ever tasted. There's also the option to have raisins or not in them!

If were ever passing through Chipping Camden again, the Badger Hall will be our first stop!

“Excellent Food”
Reviewed 6 June 2014

We had lunch and afternoon tea at this beautiful 18th century tea room. The weather was fine so we sat in the garden and enjoyed the sun. Service was very good and were friendly. The food was excellent and freshly made, good value for money.

“Good Food and Fun”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

After a fun morning of exploring Chipping Campden we stopped in at Badger's Hall Tea Room on High Street for a break. The tea room is everything that this Anglophile could want in a trip to the Cotswolds; low beamed ceilings, huge fireplace, a walk through the kitchen and past the Aga to the bathroom (fun!)

We had the Cottage Pie with some tea and finished it off with Sticky Toffee Pudding. What a treat. Besides being incredibly busy, the service was good and the staff very friendly, What a nice experience to have in Chipping Campden.

“Classic English tea room with excellent food”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Great food served in an atmospheric 15th century building on Chipping Campden's high street. Beamed ceilings, big fireplace (now used for displaying some of the items on offer), antiques all contribute to the setting. Lovely sandwiches, salads, scones, cakes and more. An efficient and accommodating staff. Reasonable prices.

Lovely quaint tea rooms with very friendly staff. I had braised beef in a bread roll so succulent. Sponge pudding and custard to follow beautiful. All washed down with a glass or two of white wine
