Young staff serving us on weekend and had to get someone's attention even though she wasn't doing anything. Poached eggs on toast by both of us and poached eggs had obviously come out of a mold and overcooked and on very thick bread. Time we went before was in the winter and freezing and when I wanted to go to the toilet it was outside a short walk from the warmth of inside.

Delicious! Lovely! Had amazing cream tea and yummy sandwiches. A very special place. Our favorite in Chipping Campden.

We were a party of 6 for tea but we came in at different times - within minutes of each other. When the whole party has assembled, the staff was a bit baffled as to how and what to serve?!?! They were a bit confused with the orders and food for the first 2 party. Nothing's changed but 4 more arrived!
The scones were nice - sweet and savoury ones. It's ok - there aren't too many choices in this little English town.

Beautiful old building with a lovely patio out back. The best scones-to die for! Very friendly staff. A perfect place to take a break from exploring and enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
