We were staying elsewhere in Chipping Campden for 3 nights, but after a wonderful first meal in the Brasserie we decided to go back. The formal restaurant was fully booked on the Saturday we arrived, but the very kind and friendly staff accommodated us in the Brasserie with the brasserie menu instead. We didn't know what to expect but there is plenty of choice on the menu and the food which came out of the kitchen on both the Saturday and Monday nights were superb!! Faultless! Impressive, incredibly tasty, high quality and beautifully prepared and served...we felt like we were in the fancy restaurant but got to experience the warmth and atmosphere of the bar area. Every single dish we ordered was spot on...the pasta was beautiful and creamy, the duck tender, the pork belly crispy, the fish cakes fresh, the smoked salmon divine, the beetroot aranchini creative, the soup homemade and the locally made pork sausages with mash, grilled carrots & onion gravy was divine. The service from every member of staff was excellent and it was an absolute joy to enjoy a few drinks there (they have a very yummy rose lemonade) and enjoy some delicious meals with lovely service. Compliments to the chef, staff & management!! Thank you!

We have just returned from a two night break and found this hotel to have lovely big well dressed bedrooms. Excellent food served by helpful and friendly staff. The location is good for discovering the area. The only thing we would have welcomed was a bigger bed! This would not put us off recommending this hotel or returning.

We spent two nights here as part of a BAck Roads tour and found this to be a charming hotel. The room was large with all amenities, and the staff were wonderful. Wouldn't not hesitate to recommend it. Food was lovely. A great stay.

We went here last autumn and found it to be in a great central location to explore the area. We arrive slightly early and were asked by the receptionist to come back as they didn't couldn't see us to 2pm. . This is not good customer service.

Other than that everything was very good especially the upgraded room .

Dinner was part of the deal we got and it even included wine.

Overall good value.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here in February 2013 and I can't recommend it enough.

This quaint little hotel sits right in the middle of Chipping Campden. The classic interior decor is out of this world and very plush.

Upon arrival we were greeted in a very warm and welcoming manor by the friendly girl on reception who showed us where to park and then showed us to our room.

We stayed in one of the romantic cottage suites which was exquisitely decorated with red velvet, rich wood and high beams. The batroom was the showstopper with a huge tub in the centre surrounded by spotlights in the floor.

We didn't have dinner at the hotel as we ate out alot but the breakfasts were lovely and our waiter was very kind and attentive.

There are lots of lovely little cafes, restaurants and old pubs with log fires in the surrounding area however I would definitely take a car to drive around and explore the Cotswolds. We stopped off in Bibury so see Arlington Row and visit the trout farm (more fun than it sounds), we went to Stratford Upon Avon to see Shakespeare’s house and then to Cirencester which is a market town.

I hope to visit this hotel again soon!
