Cherry Trees Bed and Breakfast
Certificate of Excellence

We are staying already 3 days at Angie' paradise. We had two rooms for us and for our son and his girlfriend. The king size and the double. The rooms are big, nice comfortable, with everything you need inside. Angie fulfill every need to make our stay enjoyable. We even made our laundry in the house. The rooms have lot of space and light and the bathroom as well. The breakfast is huge assorted and tasty. The village of Chipping Camden is beautiful and has many shops and restaurants. We deffenetly recommend the place and will come again as soon as possible. Thank you Angie for a wonderfull vacation

All of the previous rave reviews of Cherry Trees are correct. This is a beautiful home in a lovely garden, set well back from the main road so that it is a quiet location but very easy to reach town in 3-5 walking minutes on lighted sidewalks. Angie and her family have lovingly restored their home which shows in every detail of their home and garden. Our beautiful bedroom was on the top floor (3rd floor for US) with two rooms, one with futon and one with twin beds and two sitting chairs- lots of space, even with the slanted roofs. Angie noted that the bathroom there might be small for tall people, which my friend and I are, and indeed, the sink and toilet are difficult to use without bending over, but the shower was great. TV/DVD, wi-fi with excellent reception, and tea/coffee were available in the room, and the beds were very comfortable. As has been noted in other reviews, Angie provides an excellent breakfast, and besides the standard English breakfast (with 2 eggs!), she offered tea, coffee, juice, freshly cut fruit, cereals, yogurt, toast, and croissants. By the time we left Cherry Trees, we felt we were leaving our good friend. What a wonderful treat it was to stay at Cherry Trees.

In early April, 2013, my wife and I, from Vancouver, Canada, spent a wonderful five nights in Angie's bed & breakfast just a short walk up a lane from Aston Road, the main entry into Chipping Campden. Her spacious, spotless house proved to be ideally located just a few minutes stroll from the village centre. Being away from the centre was important, as parking is otherwise at a premium in the village. We were booked into the large king size bedroom on the second floor (first floor, if you are from the UK...) with a beautiful, modern en suite bathroom and a walk in closet to store the suitcases and hang out the clothes. Angie's breakfasts were always first class, and when she would ask what you wanted, she was serious! I asked for kippers on the last morning, and was delighted to have that very traditional Scottish breakfast served together with all the other items, including yogurts, fresh juices and coffee, danishes and eggs.

Angie also provided a wealth of information on sights to see in the village and the area. Chipping Campden, being a medieval wool market town, is surrounded by sheep, and just across the street, in an open field, we witnessed the birth of a lamb, which, for city folk like us, was quite special. We cannot say enough about Cherry Tree B&B, and would certainly stay there again on our next trip to the area.

Hint: For anyone driving in England, particularly from North America, where one drives on the right, sits on the left, and knows absolutely nothing about roundabouts, a GPS with voice, is absolutely essential! Also be aware that it is probably cheaper to buy one than rent from the car rental company.

Angie and her family were tremendous. Their thoroughly modern home had all the amenities, including a washing machine, lots of parking, easy walk to the center of Chipping Campden and surrounding villages. Loved that they had converted a historic WWII barn built from the beautiful Cotswold golden sandstone. Angie even offered smoked haddock or kippered herring with her "English Breakfast." Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely go back. The Family Room under the eaves was actually two rooms with a walk-through closet and in-suite bathroom with shower.

Room Tip: Angie told us the bathroom ceiling might be a bit low for a tall person, and the sink was a bit diff...

We spent two nights in Chipping Campden at Cherry Trees from where we drove around to the neighbouring villages and towns in Cotswolds. The B&B is conveniently located with plenty parking space and spacious rooms. Clean and well equipped showers, walk in wardrobes, iPod dock and hairdryer and everything that you can think of is in the room! The breakfast offers a choice of English and Continental and is delicious with plenty options of fruits, cereals and yogurts included. They have a beautiful garden with trees bearing apples and cherries. The neighbourhood is very quiet, green and beautiful as you would expect in the countryside. But most of all, the hospitality from the host, Angie, makes one feel welcome and at home!

We spent two nights in this lovely Cotswold retreat earlier in the year and were treated to a very warm welcome, an excellent standard of accommodation and generous breakfasts. Cherry Trees is ideally located just outside the centre of Chipping Campden and is the perfect base for exploring the local area and the Cotswold Way. Angie is a very friendly and helpful host and her husband even gave us a lift to the station on our way home. Recommended.

We have just returned home after a wonderful break at Cherry Trees. We would thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely B&B as it's so handy for the town of Chipping Campden. Angie and her family have such a delightful home and we were made so welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and our breakfasts were absolutely first class. We shall definitely be returning for longer next time
