It's always difficult finding somewhere good to eat on New Years day but thanks to the reviews on here we travelled over to Willows hopeful for a great meal and weren't disappointed.

Beautiful local sausages topping lovely creamy mash with a deliciously rich onion gravy. Home made lasagne full of flavour with a sumptuous cheese sause, side salad and some cheeky thin cut french fries on the side. Linguine Puttanesca with tomoatoes, olives, capers, anchovy and a hint of chilli which was as fresh and tasty as it sounds.

Couple the fantastic food with friendly staff and a great ambience and you've got a recipe for a fantastic culinary experience at an affordable price.

Can't wait to come back!

We eat there on a quiet Wednesday night in December so booking a table was no problem and had a lovely night.
If we come back to the area, i'd love to go back.
It had a really nice atmosphere, the food was really nice and the service was great. A really charming place.
Cost wise we spent £90 (2 people) which included an appetiser, main course, dessert and 2 bottles of wine. Worth it.

We've been here a few times, but this was the first time we'd been for lunch. Just had to write a very short review to say that the fish pie was really excellent. Simple, yet tasty and light - ideal for lunchtime. Everything else the usual high standard from starters to desserts. Staff are friendly and welcoming, well worth a visit, lunchtime or evening.
