We stayed at this hotel on the 4th July as we were going to a concert and the Academy.
The hotel was really easy to find from Victoria station about a 10 minute walk, and was really central for everything else.

Check in was very quick and the girls on the desk very friendly, we were even given some aromatherapy sleep oil. We were given a room on the 7th floor with a really good view. The room was lovely very modern and extremely clean, the bathroom was fantastic.
We asked to use the fridge in the room and a girl came and emptied everything out of it and unlocked it for us. We asked at reception if they could order a taxi for us when we were ready to go out which arrived promptly and was very reasonable.
Breakfast was very good all the usual cereals etc. and a really good hot selection.
Overall we had an excellent stay here and cant wait to go back.

Reasonably priced hotel with good standards throughout. Rooms are good size with all the expected features, air con wasnt great but we did stay there the hottest day of the year so far? Bathrooms are partcularly nice.

Room Tip: Be careful of opening curtains, as many rooms overlook the main road at Shudehill - although its pro...

Like many others - my favourite hotel in Manchester just because it has great rooms -modern boutique styling (if not the whole hog), brilliant beds and competitively priced. Location is good in terms of walking distance to all the main areas - however Shudehill itself is scruffy to say the least!

My favourite hotel in manchester , fabulous rooms , well proportioned and beautifully designed . The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in . The hotel is well located for the MEN only 10 mins walk . The staff are really helpful and friendly . Only downside , it's in a grim area I.e shudehill . But you can walk to the Armadale in 5 mins . Definitely recommend this hotel as it's always competitively priced .

We are local to Manchester anyway but we stayed over as a birthday treat after a gig in the city centre. Reception staff allowed us to check in over 2hrs early (we stayed on a Friday so this may not be possible on a Saturday) and were very helpful and polite. Also on check out asked if we wanted to leave our luggage whilst we were out and about. We were going back home on checkout so declined but this is a great service that I haven't been offered in any other hotels. Great for those wanting to explore Manchester before having to leave.

Room spacious, comfortable and clean and great views of the city. Ask for a high floor - very quiet and again the views are great.

Mini bar was a bit pricey but we chose not to have anything as there are plenty of bars local to the hotel anyway.

Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice.

No faults whatsoever and will be recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Room Tip: High floor - quiet and lovely views
