Stayed here for one night after a holiday in jamaica. Its such a nice hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. Our flight landed at 8am and check in wasnt til 2, we were sitting out in the car shattered after our journey home and i thought no harm in asking if we can check in early. We were delighted to be told this was not a problem at all and giving a room straight away. Rooms are very nice and cosy we jst fell into bed, had the best 4 hour sleep ever! The restaurant area was something you'd expect in a 5 star restaurant. The decor was beautiful, and the service we received from the boy who welcomed us and showed us to our table and then from the young boy who was our waiter, both outstanding. I would give a 5 star rating i only take a star off for the food. Theres nothing wrong with the food, i really enjoyed my dinner, its jst because its one of those places like wetherspoons, brewers fayre and all that where its the same menu everywhere so not actually a chef in the kitchen making menus, its jst cooks cooking the menu, but you know thats what you get at these places so its fine. Food was good jst cant give a 5 star for food thats not 5 star. They do a meal deal as well which was £22 for your 3 course dinner with a drink and then your breakfast. Bargain! We stayed in the hilton the day before our holiday and the room was seriously dated, we got room service which came to £120. That was for one main meal and a bottle of wine. I know which hotel i much preferred! The only cons i would say was there was no iron in the room, i had to go to dinner with a creased top after been squashed in my case for more than 24 hours! dont know if this was because it was the £29 express room? maybe irons in the better rooms. and you have to pay £5 for the parking. i dont get that. and the bed was a wee bit squeaky , apart from that i found the bed really comfy. i didnt have any problems with motorway noise like previous reviews. maybe they're light sleepers. I would defa recommend this hotel, id certainly use it again
