Stayed October 2013 after driving up from London to catch a flight with family to Florida. The stay was very pleasant, we had a good nights sleep, decent meal, and the staff were very friendly. Much better than Radison at the airport!

We were going to a wedding at the nearby Concorde exhibition centre at the airport viewing facility and I chose this hotel because of the location, and because I have been accustomed to getting good service at other Premier Inns.
We weren't disappointed. The receptionist on our first night was very welcoming and helpful. She advised us to book a table in the restaurant because it could get busy. So we did, and it wasn't busy. The food was really lovely, seemed to be freshly cooked, and was well presented. Good staff, too.
A good night's sleep was almost achieved but we always sleep with the window at least a tiny bit open, and on this occasion, the noise of people wheeling suitcases about down below into and out of taxis, and smoke from cigarettes drifting up to the room got in the way a bit. Wish w'd been given the option of a room away from the reception area!
The next day, I had booked 4 rooms, one for us and three others for my family. I really needed to check the family in, before going to the wedding, and the receptionist Mila (?) was absolutely brilliant. She managed to arrange that we didn't have to change rooms and jut got on with the arrangements.
Breakfast on both mornings was very good. More variety in the fruit salad would have been appreciated. Freshly cooked eggs delivered to the table was great! A variable price for breakfast might be preferred for some people- either older people or those who have a smaller appetite. £8.95 is good if you eat a lot. However most people do not and my parents certainly would not have wanted such a lot. The croissant and coffee t£2.95 seems a little too far in the other direction- a bit spartan, and might not suit everyone, either. Perhaps toast could be offered instead of croissant!
The staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough for us, either in the restaurant or at reception.
I would certainly stay here again.
Plus point...the lovely staff but especially the receptionists- check-ins excellent, plus telling us where the cash machine was.
Minus point...£5 a day for parking

Room Tip: If you want to sleep, ask not to stay at the front right above the reception area.

Location is perfect, really close to the airport, a few mins drive to the car parks. Had a nice meal in the restaurant (£14 for 2 courses deal) though the service was a little slow.

The beds were comfortable and it was spotless, however we did not have a good nights sleep and had our night refunded under the 'Good nights sleep guarantee' due to the air conditioning increasing by 10c from us going to sleep and waking up in the middle of the night due to the heat. It was hot when we walked in so reduced it to 20, got up in the middle of the night and it was 30.

The sink wasn't in the bathroom which was a bit bizarre to say the least.

FYI the overnight parking charge was £5.

It was my first stay at a Premier Inn and I was impressed with the facility just a shame about the nights sleep.

I visited Manchester again, second time in this year 2013 during the month of November. This time, I decided to go for this hotel as there was no room available at Radisson Blue; the hotel where I stayed earlier during July-2013.
The hotel is close to airport and you could reach there by cab, which will charge around 7 GBP. The service is prompt; staff is courteous and polite. The rooms are good, clean and you can surely get good night's sleep over there; however surprised to see that there was no refrigerator in the room. There were some issues with respect to my booking but were sorted out by reception staff. The breakfast spread is good and food is tasty. The restaurant is fine but they could do well with some prompt service as it took long time after I ordered for the food on two occasions. Overall, the hotel is good value for money.

We had a great night at this Premier Inn. The kids loved it & the staff were excellent. Definitely stay here again. The main reason we stayed here was because the Hotel is close to Manchester Airport. The food at the Hotel restaurant was very good. Great choice on the kids menu. Looking forward to our next visit.

Unhappy about lack of customer care in booking the park, fly, sleep package in particular, the lack of directions from the airport to the hotel and also no clear signs when approaching the hotels to the one on north and south Runger Lane

We stayed in this hotel overnight as we had a very early morning flight. It was a reasonable price, around £45 for a family room.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a small but modern bathroom and everything we needed and views of the airport and planes.
We used the restaurant for our evening meal and the food turned out to be better than anything we ate on our holiday! The fish and chips were fantastic and the kids meals were good too with generous portions.
Although we are unlikely to have the need to use the hotel again I would highly recommend it and would certainly use the Premier Inn chain again. Well worth what we paid.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a high floor with views of the airport.
