In the past I have been very snooty about premier inn's & I have never stayed in one before. However we were flying from Manchester airport& my travel agent booked me into this one. It's not particularly close to the airport & taxis were £ 6 each way- this ended up costing us quite a lot as we travelled into Manchester the evening that we were staying. However the hotel itself was a lot better than I expected, the family room was big enough, with lovely comfy beds. Staff we're very helpful & pleasant , we didn't eat there in the evening but we did really enjoy their breakfast buffet. We are all vegetarians & there was a lot of choice in the morning; veggie sausages etc. The breakfast costs £ 8.95, but kids eat free- which makes it a very good deal. I will definitely consider using the chain again, I normally use Malmaisons etc for city breaks with my family, but I now realise that we could happily use a premier inn again- my kids thought it was great.
