I have stayed at Velvet twice now and can honestly say it's the best hotel I have ever stayed in and would not stay any where else in Manchester. The rooms are absolutely amazing with a different design in each. We stayed in room 24 which has a gargoyle bed and a massive bath! The little touches make it extra special from the tea and biscuits when you arrive to the chocolate on your pillow on an evening and not forgetting the velvet rubber duck on the bath! We ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice as we're the cocktails! I can not speak highly enough of the staff who were all extremely friendly and helpful. It is in a great location and only a few minutes walk to all the shops in Manchester city centre and great for going out on canal street. I would definitely recommend staying at Velvet, it's amazing!
