I stopped here on a Sunday night (10.08.14) for my birthday, we arived in the luxurious hotel late afternoon and parked across the street in a separate carpark which was ideal. The rooms are beautiful, they have a mini bar, hamper basket full of treats (you have to pay for them), complementary toiletries, and we had a welcome tray with cold milk, ice, lemon slices and biscuits delivered to our room for no extra charge. The hotel is mostly for gay people and didnt bother us but what do you expect on canal street? It had a lovely atmosphere to the hotel and bar area and a real chilled out feeling which made it a great relaxed night. While we were out in the evening our room was 'turned down' which was a great touch they dimmed the lights put the t.v on and opened the bed up and layed chocolates on our pillows. Would definetly stay here again, we are planning to go back around christmas for a night out as the night life is great around the area.

This small, unique hotel is tucked away on Canal St in Manchester. We had a friendly greeting and were shown to our room with a follow up a few minutes later of the delivery of tea, coffee and biscuits. The room was large and luxuriously decorated and the bath was large enough for both me and my husband to lie down in at the same time! The beds are also enormous and very comfortable.

We used the bar that evening and found it to be very relaxing and lovely to sit outside soaking up the atmosphere. The noise from the street after midnight did keep us awake for a while so it's not ideal if you have an early start and the blackout blinds were not flush to the window letting in a stream of sunlight too early for us. We would go back again without hesitation.

One night stay for a birthday, absolutely fantastic rooms, all with their own unique style, highly recommend this hotel, the staff were very welcoming and helpful! Price for one night was approximately £100, this is rather pricey but what a fantastic hotel! Well worth it, we will hopefully be returning!

Room Tip: Have a look on the hotel's website and email them requesting a specific room that you like the l...

We stayed here on a trip to Manchester. The staff were helpful, the room was great and very sexy :) Think our room was no15.

We had cocktails sitting next to the canal in front of the hotel. The 2for1 offer felt a bit expensive at £12 though.

The Hotel was handy for everything...a few minutes to the Northern Quarter and to the City centre.

Room Tip: Our room was 15 and was big with a fantastic huge mural on the wall, high ceiling and a full length...

Stayed for 2 nights. Greeted with a tray of coffee, and all staff welcoming and friendly. Decent size room and handy having a bar and restaurant next door which could be charged to the room. Great location on canal st, near to train station and arndale centre

Not just a standard hotel although all the good service you expect from a four star hotel were there. Ice and cookies filled up, room well cleaned, helpfull staff. Quite unique decor in a funn and unique neighbourhood. Enjoyed it. Only draw back would be the queeking ceiling, could hear the room above, quite loud.

Room Tip: Higher floors must have les novice

Standard fayre but great service & nice on a warm sunny day
Expensive for what you get, the chicken though is excellent.
Not so great inside, slightly dated & dank, deffo a sunny day destination.
Beware of the scrotes on bikes that frequent Canal st though, eyeing up your phones, handbags & wallets
