Such friendly and accommodating staff-especially Lisa on reception who couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are quirky and personalised with a real vintage style. What a great hotel -we will be coming again

Centrally located, and despite being on a busy bar street, it was quiet at night. Beautiful building with good quality furnishings and a nicely designed room. Service was really friendly and efficient, anticipated my every need. Thanks for a lovely stay and "I'll be back"!

Room Tip: Rooms at the front do overlook a building site, but work stops at a reasonable hour so it wasn't intrusive at night or early morning.

Fabulous stay in vibrant Manchester in a quirky hotel. Great food, drinks, bed and staff. Loved our stay and will definitely be back. Good value, quality and lovely touches with tub of biscuits and ice bucket in too. If you are a light sleeper take your ear plugs, you are in the Gay quarter and they party till dawn and beyond, put don't let that put you off, it's great fun. We will be back xx

Room Tip: Super king size bed in all rooms please xx

The room was good, staff were friendly, great location and all that, it's just let down by the price for a balcony room whilst there's a building site opposite, which can't be helped obviously but the price should be reduced.

Dear Adam Munson

Thank you for taking the time to provide some valuable feedback from your recent stay here with us. There is indeed a price differential on our balcony rooms which when reflected into the price also takes into consideration the size of these rooms being larger and the extra space. And this has actually decreased whilst we aware of the building works going on in the distance which unfortunately as you say is outwith our control and hopefully will be completed soon.

It was a pleasure to have you stay with us - we hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Kind regards,

The Velvet Team
