This hotel is perfect for the MEN Arena. From leaving our seat after the show to getting into a comfy warm bed was no more than 4mins - brilliant! What made it better was watching the traffic and people walking to other hotels through the large floor-to-ceiling windows.

The hotel is modern, fresh and clean. There are recycle points for guests to use (sad that I noticed this I know!). All the lifts were working and the corridors were clean and well lit.

Rooms carry the modern fresh theme into them which is great. We had a HUGE bed which was very comfortable even for my wife who is 25 weeks pregnant! Everything worked and the shower was excellent.

Breakfast was very good too with loads of choice of hot and cold items. The yoghurts were kept on ice to keep them cool (nice touch) and the hot food was replenished on a regular basis.

Overall, I would happily stay here again, especially if I was going to the MEN Arena.

Booked at short notice and stayed for one night after a show at MEN. Location couldn't be more convenient for MEN. We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and there was plenty of onroad, overnight, free parking in the side roads on the left, just past the hotel, away from the MEN.

Easy few minutes walk to the Printworks, where we met friends for a meal before the gig.

Hotel bright, clean and contemporary. Pleasant helpful attentive service. Fab room on 6th floor, weren't disturbed by traffic noise at all. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows, good shower and nice plush towels and tea/coffee making facility.

Breakfast was included in the price and was buffet style, served in the grill bar. Plenty of choice for all tastes, well presented and frequently replenished. Nice relaxing place for a lazy Sunday morning breakfast with the papers. Didn't have the chance to use the pool and spa facilities which were also included in the price.

Excellent choice for us and very competively priced for a Saturday night at £98 total, compared to the other options that were available at short notice and considering the convenient location within walking distance, breakfast for 2 and the free parking we managed to get. We booked through Quickrooms, which showed availability even though the hotel's own website did not!

I was here on business. Hotel is slightly out of town, so was a bit of a walk to the office but great spot for the MEN. Probably about a 20-25 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly station. Recommend getting a cab which costs around £5.

Hotel is relatively new, so rooms are fresh and modern. Large bedroom with a iew oer the city. It's situated on quite a busy road but didn't notice any noise from the traffic. Tea and coffee available in the room.

Had some food there which was pretty good for room service. There's a bar and bistro on the ground floor.

Like several of the previous reviewers we chose this hotel because of its proximity to the MEN Arena and for this it was perfect being 2 minutes across the road
For example after the concert we walked into town to the bars around the Printworks. Had a couple of drinks and then back to the hotel, to find people still queuing to get out of the MEN NCP car park.
Also found the Park Inn to be a modern, clean Hotel with good service.
We did not utilise the bar or restaurant as it is a short walk into Town and you can be in the restaurants in China Town within 15 minutes. But the reception desk was very forthcoming with local information, and when I buggered up the room safe and could not open it, someone appeared within minutes of contacting reception to fix it.
The room is a modern feel and has all the amenities you expect. The design meant that there was no wardrobe as such in our room but an open plan hanging rail with shelves, which was perfectly fine for a couple of days stay. But if you are staying for a week with a big suitcase you may struggle.
The King size bed was large (albeit two singles joined together) and one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. We also had a back facing room, which meant the view of the surrounding apartment blocks and glass office blocks wasn’t the best, but it was very quiet with no external noise that we could detect.
Small gripes with the room were that the tele is quite a small LCD size and I would have expected better and there was no heated mirror in the bathroom which is almost de-facto standard in new build hotels now. But these were very small gripes.
The swimming pool area was very clean and the steam room and sauna were of a good size.
And as previous reviewers have mentioned the irony of the hotel name is that you cannot park as there is no hotel Car park. It will cost £9.20 for 24 hours in the large NCP over the road which is the least hassle or you can get cheaper 12 hour options by using one of the open land spaces occupying the former Boddingtons brewery site.

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the MEN Arena where we had tickets for a show. The reception staff were efficient and friendly. The room was very well decorated and exceptionally clean. We had a pre-concert dinner which was very good and service was just right. The cocktails were good value and the bar staff nice. Only one negative comment - there was no car park however there was a very cheap one just across the road so not really a problem. Generally a very good value hotel for a city break.

Stayed at the Park Inn this weekend for 2 nights B&B for the match. Room was average size, clean and cosy. Staff were friendly, efficient and there was always someone on hand if u needed something. Food in the restaurant is lovely!

Although it isn't in the heart of the city, Victoria station is 2 minutes walk and you can get metros, trains, buses and taxis to anywhere. Took around 15 minutes on the tram to old trafford.

Immediately outside the hotel there is anywhere to eat but 5 mins walk up the road is a place called The Prinkworks which has bars, nightclubs and restaurants, which is perfect. Next to the The Printworks is the Arndale shopping centre which has loads shops. It takes around 10 mins on the tram to the city centre which is so handy too, so your really not far from anything even though the hotel is the heart of the city.

The hotel also has a swimming pool and steam that you can use as you like.

Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here overnight to go to a gig at the MEN. The location was perfect, right across the road from the MEN. It's a shame that there is no parking, but the overnight rate at the NCP car park across the road is £9.20 so not too bad. The room was fine, perfectly clean, modern and adequate, although nothing special. Same for the bathroom, spotlessly clean and adequate. Had those squeezy soap containers in the bathroom, which I don't like. We stayed on a package including bed, breakfast and pre-concert dinner for about £120 in total, which was OK. Food was surprisingly good. Snacks were left in the room for our return which was very nice. This hotel, in my opinion, is great for the MEN, quite good value although nothing special. I would certainly stay again if going to a late gig at the MEN.
