“Good place to stay in Manchester”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 September 2012

Stayed here for two weekend nights at the end of April 2012. Nice, newly built, comfortable hotel. Very functional for a short stay. Not too expensive for B&B (the breakfast is quite good) but the bar food later in the day is overpriced for what it is - microwaved style burgers, panninis etc. The hotel is close to plenty of shopping and eating out and appeared to us to command a reliable taxi service. Our room was on the 4th floor, overlooking the furniture suppliers and the snooker centre across the road but there was no noticeable noise from the street. We would definitely stay here again B&B, but we wouldn't eat here in the afternoon or evening.

Good location, right next to victoria train station. Luxury rooms with nice views! Very quiet hotel, no noise was heard at night! Me and partner stayed on floor 5 with views over the patio/bar and the fountains!
Swimming pool was nice, rather dark and cold looking though!

We stayed at this hotel when we went to see George michael at the men arena, couldn't of choose any where better it is only a 2 min walk. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly and helpful, the only i would suggest is they need more staff in the mornings for breakfast. We were having to search for cutlery and chase down the staff for tea and coffee, other than that the food was well stocked and very good. Also the car park is located across the road in a multi storey and is £12 per night, it would of been nice to know this before hand. Even though I would recommend as the stay was nice and the location for the men arena perfect......

Room Tip: We were located facing the back of the hotel, room 529 very quiet and comfy....

Stayed here for just one night and remember this hotel being built so I was expecting a nice new room. Reception and lobby are was very nice and a quick check in but I was disappointed with the room - quite modular like the premier inns and ibis, cheap finishes on the internal furniture, room looked liked it hadn't been hoovered in a while, tv was very dodgy and kept buzzing! Breakfast was nice with a good selection! All in all the hotel itself was good but the rooms do let it down.
